As the new barn owners we are thankful to all our current boarders, trainers and future boarders for their patience while we transition through all the construction 🚧, upgrades , and improvements , we want to thank all the current and future boarders for their patience !
The facility is going through lots of changes . We are so excited to be giving the horses and owners a up to date facility !!
We are all ears listening to what works best for you and your horses 🐎 home !!
Not only is Los Lagos a show barn , but a peaceful and magical place to be !!

Los lagos is getting all new indoor footing !!
We are so excited to make these new changes for our horses !!

Footing is one of the most important parts of having a show barn , to keep our horses 🐴 well and wonderful !!

Training barn remodel is almost ready !!! Newly rebuilt stalls , and walkouts . All new wash rack , lights , tack room and grain room !!

A sneak peak of today’s 1st annual Los lagos Christmas Party !!
We gathered around , had fun, food and lots of laughter !!
Danae Boyd riding academy and Alicia swinton Eventing joined forces for the Christmas Oxer high jump !
Lots of games for all the kiddos and adults to join in !
The food was delicious, the friends were amazing , the horses were great !
Thank you to all who came and celebrated!!

We are proud to introduce Alicia Swinton to our team of trainers

Alicia Swinton is an established 3 day eventing trainer based at Los Lagos Equestrian Center, in
Granite Bay, CA.
She is an accomplished rider through the preliminary level in eventing, has a USDF bronze
medal, and has schooled intermediate. Alicia has won multiple high points, the SF jumper
classic, and been awarded grants recognizing her contribution to the sport and her program
developing riders. Alicia is known for her positive training methods that help horse and rider
achieve their goals.
Over the past 15 years, Alicia has produced many successful riders. Her students have won
USEA and USDF year end division awards, high point awards and much more. Whether in the
show ring or out, no goal is too small.
Alicia started riding at 6 years old, under USEA hall of fame trainer Yves Sauvignon. At 22, she
diversified her training by working with world champion reining trainers and natural
horsemanship coaches, as well as other 5* eventers.
This diverse education helped her become the trainer she is today. In 2009 she opened her own
riding school and training program. Her training style combines classical methods with modern
techniques, with a strong emphasis on proper horsemanship and care. She encourages riders
to understand their horses, the bio-mechanics of riding and set goals. T ogether they make a
tailored plan for each individual horse and rider, to meet those goals, in a supportive and fun
atmosphere along side the entire ASE team.

🗝️ OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT 📢
Today 12/12/2024 I, DaNae Boyd am officially the new owner of Los Lagos Equestrian Center.
We are so excited, and as you can tell we are doing a lot of improvements to the facility, and as we go along things will be updated on the website and Facebook .
With all the new renovations and updates, we are hoping to have something for everyone with the facility.
From Full Care, training, lessons, sales and horse shows with qualified instructors. We will have it all available. We also have full access to all Folsom lake trails!!!!
Our staff is working tirelessly to have all the renovations to the facility done by January, with many more to come in 2025 !!!
