Meet Jax. He is an 8 month old boy who is a standard poodle. He is about 40 pounds. Jax does well with other dogs and kids. He is potty trained. He is such a sweet and loving boy. After a couple weeks in doggie jail, I was taken to wonderful foster homes where they tell me what a good boy I am. I am the biggest love bug you’ll meet! I am working on potty training, coming when called, and how to have better house manners. I love to run and play with the other doggies. I have also met some kitty friends. I am now 8 months old and about 30 pounds. I am pretty much full grown! I hope you think I’m cute enough and fill out an app below to take me home! Posey is about to be a year old and has spent most of her time in a shelter or a rescue. She needs someone to give her a chance! In the past year, she was born in a shelter in Alabama. From there, we got her siblings and mom. Posey was adopted for about 3 months, but unfortunately returned due to divorce, no fault of her own. She has been on some trial runs but no one has given her time to adjust to a new home or work with her. It takes 3 days to decompress, 3 weeks to get into a routine, and 3 months to fully feel at home. Posey is hoping by the time she turns one, she will have a family who adores her. She is dog friendly. She has met dogs of all ages and sizes and loves them! She just wants to play until she gets worn out. Posey loves her benebones! She can’t get enough of them. Posey is potty and crate trained! She is crated when the foster goes to work and to sleep in. She is doing better on leash walking but still pulls and gets excited around other dogs. Posey is eager to learn. She learned sit and lay down in just 3 days! We continue to practice that so she doesn’t lose it. She shows traits of a heeler- herding Tendencies, needs a job! Due to this, we believe she won’t be good for little kids. Posey says her perfect family will let her be active- walks or runs, playing in the yard, hiking, another playmate, etc. Please help Posey’s birthday wish come true! If you can’t adopt, please share! We would hate to see her spend anymore time in foster and not in a forever home!

Introducing Bear! This little fella is a poodle/dachshund mix who is 3 month old. (DOB is 10/5/23)(Mom is dachshund (5 lbs)and dad poodle (10 lbs)
His foster mom says he is very very sweet and submissive and LOVES to be held. He is living with other dogs and cats and is good with all. He is ready for his forever home! Merry Christmas! We are beyond grateful for your support. In 2023, we were able to save 65 pets this year! It is truly a blessing for us. Of these 65, only two dogs are still looking for a home, Cash and Posey! Please help us spread the word and get them home by the end of the year! Posey is dreaming of a family in time for the new year! This beautiful girl is about 10.5 months old and is so deserving of a loving family. Posey is only 35 pounds and full grown! She has learned “sit” and “lay down” (check out video in comments). She is gentle at taking treats. She is potty and crate trained. Posey loves her benebones and other tough chew toys. She loves other active dogs. She is mixed with some herding breeds so we are looking for a home with no young children (children 8+). On this giving Tuesday, we are asking for donations. Lately, our adoption rates have slowed down, and we have had dogs longer than expected in our care. This adds more cost for the rescue. Currently 2 of our available for adoption dogs have been with us for almost 4 months. Please consider donating to help these dogs get everything they need and to continue to help us save more! Posey is 9 months old, 35 pounds, and looking for her forever family. She does well with other dogs and is potty trained. Posey has met a handful of dogs and has done great in her foster home when new dogs/puppies come and go. She would do best in a home with older children. We believe she is part cattle dog and can have herding tendencies with younger children. Posey is a beautiful and loving girl that will need continued training and patience in a new home. Have you heard of black dog syndrome? It's the term used to describe the low adoption rate of black dogs in shelters & it's very real. Add "Pit bull" mix to that description & it almost guarantees a hard to adopt dog. Gavin, Gracie & Genevieve are experiencing this now. Usually puppies get a huge number of applications, but these 3 sweeties have not had any interest. They're black, Pitbull/Labrador mixes who are just as sweet as fluffy Golden Retriever puppies that most people would go crazy for - and they would really love to find families to love them! Posting this video of Bagheera who has been waiting for several months for his forever family to come along! He is about 13 months old and playful, although he loves to cuddle too. Bagheera would do great in a home with cats, dogs and kids with proper introductions. He has a tough time with showing his true personality at adoption events, so hopefully this helps him find his forever home!
