Pound Pets Inc. Rescue We are a 501c3 no-kill animal rescue We are a Non Profit organization. We are fosterbased so we are constantly looking for foster homes.

Some of our dogs have to the be the only pets in the home so those foster homes are always needed. We have very few dogs due to the lack of foster homes. If you would like to foster, please complete a foster appliation. We can't save them if they have no place to go.

We have some serious puppy love going on at the shelter. As soon as Buddy got back to the shelter today he ran straight to Coco’s kennel and gave her kisses. They have became quite the bonded pair. They can both be off leash now together. Coco is definitely the one in control in this relationship but Buddy could careless he just loves being able to hangout with her

The pups spent lots of time outside today enjoying the beautiful weather. They were all worn out when we left.

Buddy and a great time on his sleepover this weekend. I kenneled him for the first time while I ran some errands and he did great. He was asleep before I was 2 blocks away.
As usual he sleeps through the night and runs to the door if he’s has to go potty when you ask him if he has to go out.
We took a long walk today and spent time outside while I did some outdoor projects.
He loves being outside.
Once we came back in he was out like a light. Too much fresh air 🤣🤣
Buddy is available for foster or adoption. He doesn’t care for cats but loves to play and hangout with nonaggressive dogs if introduced correctly.

We are sad to announce that Meena, one of our PPI alumni, passed in her sleep Thursday night. Meena came in to animal control as a stray in 2018. She was heartworm positive and went to foster with the Marconi family. Mena was treated for her heartworms and made a great recovery. Mena eventually became a member of the Marconi family. Here is what her Momma says:

"She was a good girl and a spoiled couch princess. We tried to make up for her rough life before she came to us."

They did just that. We thank the Marconi Family for giving our Meena the best years of her life. You were the bestest girl Meena, and so very loved. You will be missed sweet girl. Until we meet again... 😢🌈💔🐶

Denise and I(Lisa) have been working with Coco and Buddy for about 7 mos. We started out with them walking on opposite side of the street, then the same street one in front of the other and the last 2 mos they have walked next to each other. They have also been interacting with each other one in their kennel and the other out. Today Coco was kissing Buddy through her Kennel. So after their walk we let them interact in the yard together. Coco was so excited and all she wanted to do is play. Hopefully in the next few weeks they can both be off leash in the yard. It takes time and patience sometimes.

Ellie taught me this. I can make the ball go backwards now.

Someone please please save me from Lisa’s sleepover bootcamp. I like to go on long walks but she’s trying to kill me with these runs we are doing. I’m a full figured woman, we aren’t supposed to be running 🤣🤣 I’m a really good girl. I’m potty trained, I love to supervise Lisa while she cleans, does laundry, cooks etc so I would love a home where I could supervise my family. I love to be outside and butt, belly, and ear rubs. I like cats but I’m not a fan of other dogs. I slept for over 10 hrs last night without even having to get up and use the bathroom. I’m available for adoption or a foster
