Pound Pets Inc. Rescue We are a 501c3 no-kill animal rescue We are a Non Profit organization. We are fosterbased so we are constantly looking for foster homes.

Some of our dogs have to the be the only pets in the home so those foster homes are always needed. We have very few dogs due to the lack of foster homes. If you would like to foster, please complete a foster appliation. We can't save them if they have no place to go.

We have 2 fundraisers coming up this spring
1-NCAA tournament. Works basically like the Super Bowl squares. Only thing different is there are more winners. Squares will be $10 once they are available. Selection Sunday is March 16th and the tournament starts on March 18th. We should have the site up and running by March 1st.

2-slumber pawty- it’s on April 5th. We will be asking for sponsorships starting sometime in March. You can either donate to a certain dog or cat/kitten or you can make a general donation to the rescue. We spend the night with the pups and kittie who live at the rescue.

Coco and Buddy both came to my house for sleepovers this weekend.
Coco-is getting more and more comfortable at my house and is able to relax more. She loves to snuggle and she loves to sleep under the covers with me.
Buddy-has made my home his since the first time he came here. He’s so darn good when he’s here. He’s soooo loving and enjoys snuggling with you. He loves to be with you no matter where you are and what you are doing. Last night he woke me at 2am because he had to go potty. We went out, he went and came back in and went right back to sleep.
Both Buddy and Coco are available for adoption. Coco has to be the only animal. Buddy gets along with non aggressive dogs as long as introduced correctly. Let us know if you are available

Baby Girl had another sleepover this weekend at my house. She is so good. I still can’t believe we have no interest in her from anyone. Half of the time I don’t even know she’s there. She’s potty and kennel trained. She 8-10 yrs old. She loves going for walks and being outside with her person
She loves, loves, loves people. I had a person come by on Saturday and she was so good. She let him pet her and she didn’t jump etc. she loved the extra attention. She is cat friendly but must be the only dog. If interested in adopting or fostering Baby Girl please let us know

Anyone looking for a kitten???? We have lots of them. These 4 are the sweetest. The black one purrs so loud 

Rojo loves to play fetch but he doesn’t always like to drop it so we can throw it more then once 🤣🤣🤣

We have some serious puppy love going on at the shelter. As soon as Buddy got back to the shelter today he ran straight to Coco’s kennel and gave her kisses. They have became quite the bonded pair. They can both be off leash now together. Coco is definitely the one in control in this relationship but Buddy could careless he just loves being able to hangout with her

Denise and I(Lisa) have been working with Coco and Buddy for about 7 mos. We started out with them walking on opposite side of the street, then the same street one in front of the other and the last 2 mos they have walked next to each other. They have also been interacting with each other one in their kennel and the other out. Today Coco was kissing Buddy through her Kennel. So after their walk we let them interact in the yard together. Coco was so excited and all she wanted to do is play. Hopefully in the next few weeks they can both be off leash in the yard. It takes time and patience sometimes.

Ellie taught me this. I can make the ball go backwards now.

Someone please please save me from Lisa’s sleepover bootcamp. I like to go on long walks but she’s trying to kill me with these runs we are doing. I’m a full figured woman, we aren’t supposed to be running 🤣🤣 I’m a really good girl. I’m potty trained, I love to supervise Lisa while she cleans, does laundry, cooks etc so I would love a home where I could supervise my family. I love to be outside and butt, belly, and ear rubs. I like cats but I’m not a fan of other dogs. I slept for over 10 hrs last night without even having to get up and use the bathroom. I’m available for adoption or a foster
