We really, really hate having to make this post but we feel a reminder is needed.

❌❌IF YOU CANCEL YOUR APPOINTMENT IN UNDER 24HRS FOR NON-EMERGENT REASONS YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR THE SLOT IN FULL. ❌❌

Why? As a small business that relies solely on our income from grooming appointments, we cannot continue to keep our doors open with missed appointments. Last minute cancelations are very difficult to fill, and because we are a one-on-one grooming salon, those slots are a complete loss if we do not charge accordingly.

We understand emergencies happen. Car issues, accidents, illnesses, unsafe driving conditions etc. And we evaluate those on a case-by-case basis. We are not mean or unreasonable. However, we have been lax on charging a cancelation fee in the past and we simply cannot continue to do this. Some people may ask why we implement this policy and other grooming salons do not, and the answer is simple. Our overhead and business operations are different from other salons. We must charge accordingly in order to continue providing you with the quality service you expect when you bring your pet to us. Times are tough for everyone, and small businesses are no exception.

This policy is on our Policies and Waiver form we have every client read and sign before becoming a client.

Verbal abuse, nasty reviews, locking credit cards, and disputing charges with your bank will result in a permanent refusal of services. If these issues persist we will be forced to charge the service in full at the time of booking instead of only taking a 50% deposit.

RESCUE SUPPLY DONATION DRIVE

It's that time of year again and The Falls SPaw is hosting our 2nd annual supplies donation drive for two animal rescue organizations this holiday season. All proceeds of this donation drive- both items and monetary donations- will benefit Hawk Creek Animal Shelter and Heading Home K9 Rescue.

Hawk Creek Animal Shelter is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization servicing Kandiyohi and Meeker counties. They provide care to abused, neglected, abandoned and stray animals and help them find wonderful homes.

Heading Home K9 Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing homeless Minnesota dogs. HHK9 prioritizes dogs that are commonly overlooked- including, but not limited to: black dogs, bull breeds, large breeds, senior dogs and dogs with additional medical needs. While they primarily focus on dogs, they do take cats, and a few other species as well.

So what can we accept for donations?

❄️When specified- gently used items are allowed. Gently used items must not have significant wear and tear and MUST be thoroughly cleaned.

❄️Items that do not have "New or Gently Used" must be brand new.

❄️We have a dog, cat and general donation list. We do not have a cap on specific items donated- everything is needed and appreciated!

❄️We cannot accept prescription dog and cat foods.

❄️We cannot accept prescription animal medications.
