Most of my training experience has been with barrel racing and breaking horses. If you know me, you know I LOVE flat work and going back to where I started. Thanks to a couple great friends I get to put a refresher on two English horses for the next month.

Out here breaking 2 year olds at barrel races. Both of these babies are outside horses in for training. Polar opposite horses but both are so much fun.

A trailer load of horses headed to a barrel race. 30 minutes after arriving at the barrel race a two year-old I have in training decided she was going to colic. This aptly named Chocolate Palomino pony is looking for his forever home. He has been ridden quite a bit up and down through the town of Love Valley. He has played pool, climbed stairs, and is an in your pocket pony! Standing about 44” he is probably the kindest pony I’ve ever been around. I caught, saddled, and took off on him in 5 minutes after not being ridden in months. Owner was told he is broke to drive as well. I know nothing about driving a horse so no pictures or videos of that. Estimated around 5 years old.

Standing around 15.1/2 this sweet, willing, 7 year old is ready for his new home. He has been trail ridden countless times and after riding him I think he would make a very nice prospect for about any discipline. His trot can be sat or posted and is smooth extended or collected (for the collection he knows). Did everything I asked in a hack. He ponies and gladly gets ponied. He’s not for a beginner as his age and is green. But I believe a handy youth could ride him no problem.
Had his teeth done in January.
