Looking for something new and fun to do with your dog? Trick training is great for any dog regardless of age, size or skill level and is a great source of mental stimulation. This 5 week class offers not only instruction in how to teach a variety of tricks but also offers a great way to strengthen the relationship between you and your canine partner. Tricks taught will be from AKC’s Novice and Intermediate Tricks Checklist and will be helpful in preparing any team interested in earning Trick Dog Titles. Rae is an active agility, disc dog and rally obedience competitor and all 3 of her dogs have tested through the Performance Trick Dog levels with the AKC Trick Dog Titling program.

The AKC Canine Good Citizen™ (CGC) program provides a perfect framework for training your dog to become a polite member of society. CGC classes will help you and your dog learn the 10 skills in the program.
Canine Good Citizen Test Items
1 : Accepting a friendly stranger
2 : Sitting politely for petting
3 : Appearance and grooming
4: Out for a walk (walking on a loose lead)
5: Walking through a crowd
6: Sit and down on cue and stay in place
7: Coming when called
8: Reaction to another dog
9: Reaction to distraction
10: Supervised separation
This CGC Prep Class is taught by Certified AKC CGC Evaluators.
Instruction will last 5 weeks with the 6th week being test day (optional)

We will focus on behaviors beneficial for a well behaved dog include sit, down, stand, stay, come, loose leash walking, socialization and focus with distractions. This is an essential class for all adolescents, because they will all test our patience, so lets learn to work thought it!
*This class will only run if we meet the minimum of 3 participants.

About Pawsitive Kinection

Owners Jessica Davis & Kate Viles have been friends and trialing partners for many years. Combined they have over 40 years of experience training and competing with dogs, while encompassing a natural, positive and holistic approach to rearing, raising, training and competing their dogs. For many years, they held classes and offered services, together and separately in both Vermont and New Hampshire.

​In 2016 Jessica & Kate found a central location for Pawsitive Kinection and was able to open their training facility in Grantham NH. The facility is conveniently located directly off Interstate 89, convenient to both the Upper Valley and Lake Sunapee regions, and within a reasonable drive to larger cities in NH and VT.

Pawsitive Kinection offers a wide variety of services and has also opened their doors to like minded dog professionals offering classes and workshops of their speciality.

The goal for Pawsitive Kinection is to have a warm and welcoming training facility that your dog is excited to come to and where the owners have a variety of services to take advantage of for a happy healthy active dog.
