Yesterday we said goodbye to our boy, Timber.
There are no words for the devastation and heartache I'm feeling. He was always here to greet my clients calmly, offering his head for pets and bringing calmness and peace into our lives.
For everybody who donated, I want you to know the donations we received completely covered the vet bills and cremation services.
The love and kindness I received from you all helped ease an unimaginable amount of pain I'm feeling.
RIP my love 😞

Hello Mt. Baldy Family !

Gosh, I feel like I've been only making posts about laying rules down lately 😅 So to not disappoint, this is also one of those posts.

These last 2 months have been incredibly rough with boarding cancelations. Being a smaller facility, I book out for boarding and have to turn others away. When I turn people away, I put them on a waiting list. 90% of the time, the people on that waiting list find alternate arrangements (rightfully so), and then I'm left with empty spots that could have very easily been filled.

Going forward, I will require a 25% non-refundable deposit to book a boarding stay on non Holiday boarding and 50% non-refundable deposit on Holiday boarding.

On a more positive note! We've made some fun improvements to our doggie yards. We put in a 'pup gazebo' for lounging and adding lots of turf!

I want to share this with all my clients so everybody is aware.
Thankfully we havent been affected and take all the necessary steps to prevent any kind of outbreak.
It does seem that there has been an outbreak of kennel cough in our town so we're limiting the intake of new dogs for the time being.

If you have boarding scheduled I ask that you please refrain from having your pups in social situations and going nose to nose with other dogs. I won't take in any dogs that are displaying any kind of illness or lethargy.

This will pass before we know it 😊

Hello everybody ! Lindsay here - I wanted to take a moment and go over our new hours.

I suppose they're not new as I've been working to implement them over the last 6 months but giving everybody some time to adjust.

As a mama of a 2 year old, as well as a mom who works from her home, the need to make a schedule is important.
I always do what I can to accommodate my clients and I hope you all feel that. As my business has grown and life gets busier i am going to be more strict about implementing my hours.

I also want to state that it is never ok to show up un-announced and without an appointment. This is our home and respecting our life and privacy is imperative. Also, I am not always going to be home. If I don't have certain things scheduled for that day I do leave and spend time with my family and schedule employees to be here accordingly.

I strive to make this a fun and safe environment for all my clients!
