UPDATE
I got sidetracked with some foot issues 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ temporarily. I truly appreciate the response from this post. I haven’t contacted anyone yet, but I plan to starting tomorrow. Hello Everyone
I haven’t been updating this page very consistently. I’ve been dealing with health problems and they have me very distracted. I’m looking for someone, hopefully not too far from Grants Pass Oregon that could foster one of my Shorty Jacks for awhile. I’m going to have surgery and I feel it’s not fair to put my girls in a kennel situation. They’re my everything and used to much love and cuddles. I have a place lined up for all but Vannah. She’s been started in training for a service dog. She has manners, is house trained and is very good on a leash and travels well. She’s been in stores and restaurants. She’s a very good girl. She’s used to sleeping in a bed at night with me.

My dogs live here, they're here to stay.
You don't like pets? Be on your way

A simple 'NO' will settle that.
It gripes me when I hear you say,

They love me more than anyone.
My voice is like the rising sun,
They merely have to hear me say,
'C'mon, time to go and play."
Then tails wag and faces grin,
They bounce and hop and make a din,
They never say, 'No time for you,
They're always there, to GO and DO.
And if l'm sad, they're by my side.
And if I'm mad, they circle wide.
And if I laugh, they laugh with me.
They understand, they always see.
So, once again, I say to you,
'Come visit me,' but know this too..

Moe has found his family. He’s going to be living with his cousin Jasper and Maybell.

Taz has found her family!!❤️❤️❤️

We have a little special order female that has become available. She’s a Riddle/Rip daughter, 9 weeks and ready to go to her new home.
She has her full tail and dewclaws. So she’s L’Natual!!!
She’s black and white with quite a bit of color. She’s definitely the ringleader of the litter and a very smart and busy girl.

Here’s the missing picture

There’s a story I want to share because our little guys are so very special.
I’d like to add that those puppy parents that have puppies with one of these parents
Ditto, Nuttah, Tagen, Riddle, Rip, Gurdy, Alfie
They eventually go back to Taz.

I got my first shorty in 1991. I purchased a female with eventually breeding her in mind.
Her great grandmother was there on the farm and surprisingly spry and active at 22 years old!!! Her name was Jackie O.

Just before my little shorty, named Taz, turned 2 years old, I received a phone call from a very sweet, very British elderly man. He explained that he was given my number by Taz’s breeder.
Seems he had recently lost his darling little Jack to old age, she had been Jackie O’s daughter.
He wanted the closest breeding available to his treasured lost girl. My Taz was the closest.
He very hesitantly asked first if I still had my Taz. Yes, I replied. Is she spayed? No, I replied. Are you going to breed her? I said I planned to. The joy in his voice as he asked his final question, may I put a deposit down for a little girl puppy?
When I said yes, I could hear his happy tears.

He came to visit a few days later to meet Taz in person and give me a deposit and let’s just say I received an education 🤣😂🤣😂

He told me his story. He was born in England, on a farm. His family had Jack Russells and had as long as anyone could remember. He grew up with ”the little buggers”. I heard about his adventures with his furry childhood friends.
He then sadly told me that the little puppy he’d be getting from Taz in the future would be his last. I’m getting long in the tooth and I only have one great love left in me ❤️😢🐶❤️

Then I said it🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ I called Taz a dog.
His eyes hardened a bit and he sternly told me that Jack Russells ARE NOT DOGS!!! They are Jack Russells and there is a difference. Don’t insult your Jack by calling it a dog. Jack Russells become a part of their person and as much a part of us as an ear or a hand. And when they leave, they only go as far as our hearts and there they remain until someday in heaven we get to walk through the fields with our family of shorties.

I forgot to mention, he did get his little girl. He named her Nipsy Russell ❤️🐶❤️

Before I bred Taz, he’d call every Saturday asking if she’d come into heat. Taz only cycled every 11 months, so it was a bit of a wait. When I told him she was finally in heat, he was overjoyed. His weekly calls continued until the day I had the privilege to call and invite him to come and meet his girl.
He visited Nipsy every Saturday. When the time came to take her home, he arrived with a tiny pink harness and leash. Little Nipsy followed him to his car without looking back. She was leaving with her daddy and she was a smiling puppy ❤️🐶

So remember, they’re Jack Russells. A gift of unconditional loyalty and love.

So, I put this crate outside, left it open and this is what happened…
There’s 8 puppies in the crate, I guess they’re crate training themselves 😂🤣😂🤣
