Seven month old Clara Bow breezed through her advanced obedience program! Initially, she was used to being carried around everywhere, not knowing how to walk on a leash at all. As she learned how to manage her puppy energy and settle into a consistent training routine, she quickly caught on! She not only became proficient with the leash, but also with her off-leash heeling and commands. Awesome work, Clara Bow! 💖🎀💖

Bringing them back together during sessions at the end of their program achieved a collective energy where they could coexist, avoid codependency, and respond both separately and together to commands.

Impulse control, or self-control, is a great skill-set any dog can learn in many scenarios and environments, and can ultimately keep them safe! Here, the dog makes a conscious decision to either give unwanted chase, lunge, or attention to the distraction OR reengage with the handler (the much more rewarding choice)!
While one works, the other also strengthens their impulse to maintain “Place” in the background!
