Holiday cheer is in the air—but let’s keep it safe for our pets!
Festive decorations, twinkling lights, and shiny ornaments can all be hazards for curious pets. Think climbing cats and toppled trees, or a pup chewing on light cords.
Decorations aren’t the only concern. Holiday plants like mistletoe, holly, and poinsettias are toxic to cats and dogs. Stick to faux greenery or keep them out of reach.
Holiday treats can be tempting for pets, but many seasonal foods like chocolate, raisins, and latke are dangerous.
Check out this full guide on holiday pet safety—because festive fun is better without an emergency vet visit! 🐶❤️ https://pbxx.it/XtmROm

Following the devastation of Hurricane Helene, ASPCA® Pet Health Insurance partnered with The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals® (ASPCA®), donating $25,000 to provide 216 dog houses for families in need. These shelters will offer a safe haven for pets whose usual indoor homes have been damaged by the hurricane.
In addition to building these dog houses, ASPCA® Pet Health Insurance is supporting customers affected by natural disasters like Hurricane Helene by extending grace periods, providing extensions for claim submissions, and more.
To date, the ASPCA® has helped over 15,000 animals through dog house building and additional relief efforts such as emergency shelters, pet supply distribution, veterinary care, reuniting lost pets with their families, and more. https://pbxx.it/cYJ2DM

Though separation anxiety in dogs is often discussed, the conversation does not always focus on our feline friends. Cats are typically viewed as independent, so people often assume that they won’t mind being left alone, but the truth is, it’s not unusual for cats to experience separation anxiety. https://pbxx.it/cLNoyo

Oh, my gourd! Pumpkin season is here, and your pets can join in the fall fun too! 🎃
Pumpkin isn’t just tasty—it’s also a healthy treat for your furry friends. It’s great for digestion, low in calories, and packed with nutrients (as long as you’re using the right kind).
Here’s what to keep in mind:
◾ Stick to plain, canned pumpkin (not pie filling).
◾ Avoid spices and added sugars.
◾ Pumpkin seeds can be a crunchy, fun snack—but make sure they’re plain and roasted.
Ready to make some autumn magic? We’ve got easy, pet-friendly pumpkin goodies you can whip up at home.
