This Illinois Valley attraction offers hands-on experiences with a variety of farm animals; alpacas, llamas,

donkeys, miniature horses, goats, sheep, rabbits, chickens, ducks etc. On site gift shop featuring alpaca apparel and products, including a full line of famous Alpaca Socks. Tours by appointment. Surrounded by timberland; sturdy shoes are recommended. Seasonally, we share our country life with all types of insects (mosquitoes) and plants (poison ivy) that may necessitate wearing long sleeves and long pants. We value your safety and comfort.

The alpacas got their haircuts yesterday. They are now ready for warmer weather. Cyclone is being sheared in the video.

Tomahawk the alpaca being sheared

This is a brief video of Tomahawk, the alpaca, getting sheared. His "blanket" is being sheared in this video. The blanket is the prime fleece from the alpaca's body. This beautiful, thick fleece will produce luxurious, warm, durable clothing, yarn, home items, toys and more.
