K-9 Kourt will be reopening Wednesday, April 8th at 8:00 am. To keep you and our staff safe, we have implemented several temporary precautions due to Covid-19 as follows:
1. When dropping off your dog, please do not enter the building.
2. Drop off you dog in the gated outside patio area to the right of the entry door. ONLY ONE CUSTOMER AT A TIME.
3. Place your small dog in the bank of cages available to you located inside the patio area. There will be a leash to hook up you big dog in the same area.
4. After you secured your dog, knock on the door and then leave the patio area.
5. We will then move your dog inside the building.
6. If you need to speak with us regarding instructions, please call 817-251-1969.
7. All payment for services will be made via phone or by check. We will take your credit/debit payment over the phone when we contact you that the grooming is completed. If paying by check, we will give you the total over the phone when we contact you that the groomig is completed and you may leave your check in the box provided in the patio area.
8. When arriving to pick up you dog(s), please knock on the door and one of our staff will bring your dog to the patio area. When our staff member has exited the patio, you can go in and pick up your dog.

Your safety and the safety of our staff is our main concern. We thank you for your consideration and for your business.

This year in the memory of Terry Shaw, with the help of so many customers and citizens of Grapevine we were able to provide Christmas dinners and presents to families and residents of Grapevines housing authority! Thank you to Bartley's Barbecue for catering the dinners and graciously donating 10 pounds of meat once they learned of our cause. Thank you to Sharon Kimbrel, Donna Pope, Diane Smith and friends, Vicki Wood and the Vega family for donating your time and gifts, we appreciate your help more than words can express! And to everyone else that donated and helped out in any way! Your efforts are so wonderfully appreciated.

Happy Thanksgiving to all of our wonderful customers from all of us at K9 Kourt. We are so blessed this year that we were able to give back to some customers in need with some hot prepared Thanksgiving lunches with the generous help of donations from our customers. And we are very excited to announce that Christmas we will be providing hot lunches to participating residents of Grapevines low income senior housing! Thank you to everyone who donated and shared our little fundraiser, without y'all it would not have been possible! Have a wonderful holiday 😊

It's time to make those holiday appointments! There's just 6 short weeks away from Thanksgiving and 10 weeks from Christmas.
We usually recommend having a couple of dates in mind and to give us a call at least a week ahead of time to ensure an appointment before the holidays 😊

We are always deeply saddened to learn of the loss of a fur friend. But we do really appreciate everyone letting us know when it happens. Rocky, you will be sorely missed by your girlfriends at K9 and we hope you're pain free in heaven.

The ladies at K-9 Kourt are hoping everyone is having a wonderful summer! In this heat, please know that the pavement gets very hot for our furbabies' pads. Here's a handy guide to help estimate how hot asphalt gets in summer temperatures. Walks in the grass are a great way to avoid potential burns, or walks in the evening after the sun has set.

We also would like to remind our customers that we will be closed Thursday, July 4th, in observance of Independence Day. We will be open Monday, July 1st, to accommodate those needing to get their furbabies groomed before the holiday.

Spring tip!

Double coated dogs like Mr. Shiloh here need to come in at least once a season(every 12 weeks) to help keep their undercoat blown out to keep them cool in the Texas heat! We offer maintenance scheduling where we put your dogs down on an x-weekly schedule and we give you a reminder call the day before their scheduled appointment!

Shiloh, for example, is on a 6 week schedule!

We at K9 Kourt have the pleasure of seeing and taking care of many older and special needs dogs. Including, sweet Clive who is a senior who is a little wobbly in his old age due to arthritis and dear Miss Shelby who has a seizure disorder that has impacted her eyesight, but we just take our time and give them plenty of breaks, and treats! 😉😁

OMG! The Pawlidays are almost here! We can't believe it either! Don't forget to book your appointments in advance to get your furbabies cleaned up for Thanksgiving and Christmas!

And just as a reminder, we will be open Monday- Wednesday the week of Thanksgiving (20th-22nd) and the week before Christmas (19th-23rd) we will be open our normal schedule Tuesday - Saturday.
