To our many friends and supporters of Sammie's Friends, we are saddened and shocked to inform you that Nevada County officials have rejected our proposal to continue to operate Sammie's Friends at the Nevada County Animal Shelter. We and our staff will be considering what we can do next to reverse this unwise decision. We hope you will join us in an effort to keep Sammie's Friends a vital part of saving animals at the Shelter and in the Community. Stay tuned for more information. There will be a Town Hall Meeting to be announced soon.
We want to thank our wonderful community for all the support you have given us over so many years. We hope you will continue this support during this difficult time.
