Rest in Peace Triton… We found out yesterday that something happened to him at his Guardian home.
We produced Triton ourselves by importing semen and performing AI with our Blue Fawn girl Selene. He was an important part of our plans for the future of our program. This will set us back. Our heart goes out to Triton, he was very special to us, and to his Guardian owner. We know his heart must break for losing such an amazing dog.

Gold Country Pugs family please keep Kenai in your thoughts. We happened upon a post today from P&C Pugs aka Pug puppy love, they had a little Chinchilla pug puppy that had a cleft palette. Her name was Kenai, they were doing everything they could to save poor Kenai, their vet was no help. Usually vets recommend putting them to sleep. We reached out to P&C and it was clear that they wanted what was best for Kenai. We then reached out to Cleft Pup Brigade, who saved one of our pups in 2019. They lead us to Simply Clefts Rescue located near where Kenai was and she is now in the best hands possible.

Pug Sunday still has pugs up for adoption. Look at this lovely photo of Oliver. He is in foster care and will be getting neutered on the 28th. He is fine with other dogs and cats has all of his vaccines, is heart worm free and on heart worm prevention.

We’ve started a GoFundMe to help keep this mission going!
Times are HARD for rescues right now. Funding is at an all time low, adoptions are slow and the amount of dogs/puppies that need help is never ending! California is in crisis mode. There is a huge dog over population issue. Every shelter/rescue is at capacity and needing help. We are no different. We have just a small corner of the rescue world saving cleft/hydro/neonate puppies and we’d love to continue to do our part…
But it’s feeling defeating right now. We have 30 puppies in our rescue at the moment. 30 mouths to feed. 30 puppies needing love, supplies and vet care. We started this gofundme just to keep our basic needs covered. We’re asking for help!! We’re asking for donations! Please if you can, donate!! And please share our gofundme! No amount is too small. We appreciate all of you for following along with us this year as it’s been tough one.
