Photos simply don’t capture how beautiful Lady Luck is. Not just a pretty face, Lady is a sweetheart! Not quite a year old, she doesn’t have wild kitten energy. Her favorite thing to do is cuddle up on a lap. Drop by our adoption room Monday-Saturday from 11am to 4 pm to meet Lady and the other adoptable cats and kittens at AnimalSave!

When Louie arrived he had “barn cat” written all over him. His eyes glowed, and he hissed as soon as anyone walked in the room. It turns out he’s just a big baby. He startles very easily, and would do best in a quiet home, but he’s not aggressive at all, loving attention from both people and other cats. Our cat adoption room will be closed temporarily as we begin the exciting process of installing new floors in Pet Adoption Services! Furniture and cats are being moved around, and chaos is ensuing. If you are interested in adopting, please call 530-271-7071 x204 and leave a message to schedule an appointment. We will not be accepting any new cats at this time. Stay tuned for our reopening. The thrift store and Book Nook are open as usual, come and do some holiday shopping!

Beautiful Snowflake needs a home! Only 4 months old, she had a rough start to life. Rescued from a dangerous situation, she is a little timid, and may not do well with boisterous children, as she startles easily. She is sure to warm up to someone in a quiet, loving environment. Very playful, she gets along well with other kittens. Stop by the adoption room soon to meet her!

Handsome Bruno is ready for a home! This sweet boy is gentle, playful, and loving. He seems curious about other cats, we will be trying some interactions out this week. Less than a year old, he’s sure to help you trim your tree!

Banjo is a medium-sized, Australian Cattle Dog/Border Collie mixed breed weighing 48 pounds. This playful and affectionate 2-year-old pup adores spending time with his people and enjoys exploring in a large fenced-in yard. Banjo is housebroken, trustworthy when left alone (no crate needed), and knows basic commands!  Banjo is up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm, and flea/tick preventatives. 
What Banjo Needs in a Home:
· A quieter environment with adults or older children (not young children).
· A pet-free home without other dogs or cats.
· Someone patient and willing to continue his training.
