A big shout out to Tina at Mother Lode for organizing this event every year and to Shea for helping put up the trees, ornaments, and holiday decorations!
Also, thank you to the students in the after school programs at the Auburn Recreation District who handmade blankets for these pets!

We are happy to bring back "The Giving Tree" this holiday season to support our local Nevada County animal rescue groups. Ornaments on the tree represent various items needed by a particular rescue pet (one item per ornament). Please select an ornament (or two) off the tree. Once the item has been purchased, attach the donation item to the ornament and drop it off with one of our staff members. Donations will be accepted until December 21st. Due to the overwhelming number of animals in shelters/rescues this year, we have put up two giving trees. We look forward to lending a hand to as many pets as we can! Happy Holidays!
Weโre thankful for the tail wags and purrfect smiles from our wonderful patients! From all of us here at Mother Lode Veterinary Hospital, have a safe and happy ! ๐ฆ
