UPDATE: thank you for such an amazing response to help this sweet girl and to give her a loving home. I am going down the list of about 8 -10 people , in chronological order so please stay in touch with this post. I will def reach out to you if you have expressed interest in this little one and she still needs a home! Thank you again!

Courtesy post: Little Dandelion, found in a ditch with a leg injury - either tossed out or fell in and forgotten , needs a loving, quiet home to continue to heal and recover from her broken leg . Sweet and gentle, although shaking and scared when she arrived, Dandilion is a 1 year old terrier, weighing 5.3 lbs, currently housed in a small shelter kennel in the cat building ( dog kennel floors are noisy and scary) . Our vet team has been taking good care of her and a vet tech bandages her leg frequently. She needs limited activity and mostly rest. She loves to be held ! But most of all, little Dandilion needs love and care and to be shown she is worth saving and does not deserve to be thrown out or forgotten! Courtesy post: looking for a loving and a patient home for sweet, mama Shirley! Shirley is the mama of the one year olds from a hoarding case of 7 dogs, all of whom ended up at the shelter. A wonderful short term foster is socializing these sweet but unsocialized dogs in her home; another is with another foster and one remains at the shelter. If you have a friendly dog And some experience with dogs who need to come out of their shell, Shirley would love to find a place to call home. She was mist likely ysed for breeding! She is 7 years old, and weighs 8.7 lbs . She is a beautiful, dark brown and white chihuahua and the second photo shows her young ones ( also available, all 1 year olds). If you are interested in helping a dog from a hoarding situation, please reach out to foster mom, Sarah at 707 495 1491. All the dogs are fixed , vaccinated and microchipped. We can provide you with a crate, a bed , her fav food , harness and a leash!

UPDATE: RESCUED . Now in a good foster home! Thank you, Scooter's Pals!

Scooter's Pals has a good foster home and so Strawberry will be rescued by Scooter's Pals.

Will post an update when she is transferred to her foster home . Thank you all for you support abd interest.

Courtesy post: : this sweet, little one needs a medical foster. Scooter's Pals is willing to rescue this precious little one Strawberry,, from a shelter, if we can find a loving and caring home that is quiet overall. Strawberry was surrendered by an owner who couldn't care for her meeds. The owner reported seizures and some weakness in back legs. The shelter vet team say that this is a sweet, loving and easy to care for pup. She is housed in cat building for lack of quiet space and to keep an eye on her but she would be far better off in a home setting to help her build her strength and grow up. Strawberry weighs about 7-8 lbs and is about 8 months old. Please reach out to me at 530-902-0933.

Courtesy post: looking for an adopter or rescue for this sweet lab, Augie ! If you are a fan of labs/ lab mixesu, like I am, look no further. Augie maybe 6 but loves to play fetch ( if belly is full) but what he loves even more, is cuddling up with his fav humans or finding the softest bed to curl up in our new casita ( litlte cottage for dogs in our shelter ), even better if there is a sunny patch to boot! Augie will do best in a quiet, loving home with some play time and/ or walking opportunity or a nice yard ( no cats please)!

looking for an adopter or a foster/ rescue for this darling, 3 year old Havanese! Bella was found on the streets with at least one other Havanese mix ( possibly one more, found within the same week and in the same area) . They ended up at our shelter. Two were adopted but Bella is still available. Bella is good with other dogs but best in an adult only home. Loving and friendly, Bella enjoys cuddles next to her humans and thoroughly enjoys walks .
