Meet Tankus, a large, burly dog decked out in a hilarious blue bird costume. Despite his imposing size and slightly intimidating looks, he’s a gentle sweetheart with the softest, easygoing personality. His adorably crooked tail wags at the slightest hint of affection, and he walks perfectly on a leash. “Big Blue’s” mellow, friendly nature shines in his interactions with other dogs, and he rides shot like a pro, ready to enjoy any adventure. With his big heart, and gentle demeanor, Tankus brings both laughter and love wherever he goes.

This very handsome boy loves the outdoors and in Husky fashion he is very athletic and energetic. He is very friendly although initially a bit shy, he warms quickly. Chuck is young, maybe two years old, he's social and has played well with other dogs. He has good manners for a youngster and sits when asked to do so and knows how to shake.

Our sweet Mobi is a goofy and special guy. Mobi came to us emaciated and in need of some tlc. Staff and volunteers at Sammie’s Friends have been working with Mobi to help him acclimate not only to the shelter environment but to his own understanding of the world. The shelter is no place for a sensitive dog. Mobi wants to be in a home where he can feel comfortable to be himself!
