I've held off posting and I'm still being cautious because Ziva's baby is still so fragile. She was our smallest baby yet, acting much more preemie like than our actual preemies who were 9 days early.

She was out bouncing around the barn yesterday and getting snuggles. She's not been on a bottle yet but after my syringe feeding her the first day she sure loves her people and chin scratches, she's an absolute doll. She gets up to come see people and come snuggle under your legs and say hi. She is gaining weight, at 3 lbs 5 oz today!

However, she still seems to have some lung or maybe heart issues because she breathes pretty heavy most of the time which concerns me for her longevity. 😢 But we are snuggling and loving her every day and trying to nurture her to the best of our abilities.

We got some awesome news the other day that our favorite bulldozer, I mean everyone's favorite goat, at least in her mind: whisper (whimsy@whitsend whisper) earned her milk star on her very first lactation with her previous owner ! Thank you for putting the time and effort into these accomplishments on your goats. You have no idea how my day was made!

We love you extra whispy!

Well. That was fast! He's pending sale to a great farm who knows exactly what they are getting 💞 thank you!!

Listen this isn't easy. But this was a decision we reached after a few long talks, that we will offer up our Eifel Acres king candy, he is a son of Vanellope, their amazing herd queen who has produced many many amazing kids and grand kids for them. We have SEVERAL of this does grand kids around here now and love every single one of them. King, or KK is a dream to handle, he's a large puppy dog and he listens when you speak to him. We have a wonderful bond with him. However, he has been here going on three breeding seasons and we have to look at the bottom line. He is available to a loving home only, that will USE him. Or else he can stay here forever. That's really how much I love him.

We are located in central Mo and have plans to travel to as many shows within a 5-6 hour radius as we can feasibly get to.

So far, Texas has received a total of 17 seed packets, and residents in Florida and Washington state have now reported receiving similar packages.

“We’re still seeing more mystery seeds from China showing up in Texas,” the state's Ag Commissioner, Sid Miller, stated. “We are working closely with our partners at USDA, APHIS, the White House, and the Department of Homeland Security to protect our state’s biosecurity. Thanks to Texans reporting these packages, we can monitor the situation closely and take swift action to protect our agriculture and natural resources. If you receive seeds, you didn’t order, don’t open them — report them immediately.”

The contents of these packages will be destroyed through steam sterilization at no cost to the recipients. TDA’s partners at APHIS will share the detections with U.S. Customs partners to identify similar small mail packages from the same sources.

If you receive a foreign package containing seeds, do not open it.

It's time to bring the next set in for kidding! We have two due the 17th so we got those brought in tonight! The barn is OUT of room 😂😅

Two kiddings I am SUPER excited for coming up super soon!... (Not that I wasn't for the others)

Toffeee and Paola! Both are due the 17th.... But the weather ☁️ 🥶 ❄️ and the full 🌝 , and our previous months adventures have me a little gunshy on waiting til the last minute on bringing girls in.

I just realized I didn't get a graphic made for Toffeee. 🙈
Toffeee is re-bred to Eifel acres King Candy, a son of the great Vanellope. Toffeee herself is one of my absolute favorite does on the property and so far has only been able to give us bucklings her first two kiddings. Fingers crossed for some 🩷 🤞🏼 (we've got a couple reservations on her already)!

Paola, our sweet sweet girl is bred to one of our bucklings who is up and coming but has a very nice body type to compliment her hopefully! During ultrasound, she only had one maybe two so it'll be light early next week. We love this doe to pieces and would absolutely not hesitate to keep anything from her. But right now no reservations. Paola, shown by my youngest has excelled in the show ring and has several gch and sgch behind her along with a long line of milk stars.

Then we have a couple more to filter in to finish out the month strong!

Something a little different to share today! Some pictures of some of our babies raising their own babies.

We love getting updates from our previous families and seeing where our babies end up! What's even cooler is seeing then come full circle and become mamas of their own 💞💞 PS check out that FF depth of body AND raising triplets 💪🏼

It's that time of year again.. everyone's favorite: cut time. Yes I've done it more than once a year lately. Partially trying to ease the sting. But also have a couple that sometimes are spoken for then it never pans out for whatever reason. But until kids are moving which hopefully comes SOON! We gotta start making some room.

We don't plan to keep many kids of our own this year with a few exceptions (for now: preemies,, zivas and a doe from toffee and Va-Nilla if those make appearances)

Will have some registered options this time as well. Keep an eye as this post gets updated as girls freshen and such! If you've been taking to us about someone check back!!

It appears BOTH of whispers kids are polled! Whispy (Whimsy@whitsendwhisper) is one of our awesome milkers!Her kids are not yet spoken for! Can be bottled if a person would like (Pr1c3 is better on bottle!)

Forgot to share this the other day, our girls started laying again! It's still going slow, 2-3 eggs a day, first couple days there was only 2 every other day, then there were eggs two days in a row!
