You guys have seen this handsome man before! I’m very excited to know that Theo has joined us for some on-site training! Theo was the first Arabian I’ve ever started under saddle, and he has given me such a good feel for this breed! He is kind, he is brave, and I can’t wait to help him go farther in his education!

If you did a double take, you’re not the only one, this is Maverick’s twin 👀😂 Very excited to announce that Mr. Mustang is joining our training program long-term! I’m so excited about this horse! Wild Roots Horsemanship, LLC did such a good job with him, and I’m excited to Keep his training going. And congratulations to Connie on your new handsome boy!

Lots of fun at the Fountain Inn Christmas Parade! Horses were all well behaved which made for a good time for everyone (especially since it was estimated to have about 5 thousand people!) and great exposure for the few youngsters at their first parade.

Great training day for the ponies!! Grace did excellent for her first exposure to cows!! JD was living up to his cutting lines and Maverick was happy to eat up a cow! Thank you God's Legacy Ranch for such a great event!

Today, a handful of students from Deeper Love Equestrian Center came and spent the day with us here at Ponderosa horsemanship. It’s so wonderful to see young kids already so passionate about horses, they are the future generation, always remember if you want to see a change in the horse world, be the example for the kids learning behind you.

Always end with a good note, today we tried putting weight in the saddle with Miss AJ, and she was good to be laid on, but the second my hind end touched the saddle it triggered her flight mode. Even after all that, we tried again, just putting weight in the stirrup and ended on a good note. Even if you lose the day, always end well. 😁 .
