It is with tremendous sadness that we announce the passing of "Fence". Fence was an original member of the Pet Commander Kennels hunting team. All dogs are undoubtedly special to their owners and Fence exceeded the word special. He was an incredible athlete, bird finding machine, and even better friend. I'm not sure we will ever have one again that will hunt like he did and then lay on the couch with you for hours. He guided countless hunters over the years at the 6666 ranch and King Ranch. He made many hunting trips to Montana and I am grateful I took him to western OK last year for one last ride. He has pointed thousands of birds and has made me look like an awesome trainer and handler in some of the most brutal environments for a bird dog. I can recall almost all of his graceful finds. He liked to find a wild pig when the birds were slow, I used to get frustrated at him for that but would love to even see that one more time. I love you buddy and fiercely miss you already. I'll see you again I know that for certain, so until then, run like the wind!
