This is a very scary reminder of just how quickly a roof can collapse under the amount of snow we've seen on roofs across the state this winter. The Casco area was hit very hard it seems with snow totals ranging from 18"-36" or more. Many people do not realize just how much weight there is on their roof when it hasn't been cleared all winter. 18", 24", 36"+ over the course of the winter can put a huge stress on the roof of a house, garage, barn, and even camps... It may be nearing the end of the season however it only takes a minute to get peace of mind for an estimate on removing the snow from your roof. We hope this gentleman makes a speedy recovery and are glad there were people there who quickly got him out.
