🌈 In Loving Memory of Riley Brauner 🐾

Today, we received heartbreaking news — our sweet friend Riley Brauner has crossed over the rainbow bridge. 💔

Riley brought joy, love, and plenty of tail wags every time they visited us at Barks and Recreations. It's never easy to say goodbye to a member of our furry family, and Riley will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives they touched.

Our hearts go out to Marsha and the entire Brauner family during this incredibly difficult time. Please know that you're surrounded by love and support from all of us here at the spa. 💕

Run free, sweet Riley. 🌈🐶 You’ll always have a special place in our hearts.

💔 In Loving Memory of Biscuit Matheson 💔

Today we say goodbye to a very special friend of the shop — sweet Biscuit Matheson. Biscuit brought so much love, personality, and joy into every visit, and quickly became part of the Barks and Recreations family. HIs tail wags, gentle eyes, and loving spirit made a lasting impression on all of us.

Our hearts are with Lisa and the entire Matheson family during this incredibly difficult time. Losing a beloved companion is never easy, and we hope you find comfort in the many beautiful memories you shared with Biscuit.

We will miss her deeply and remember Biscuit always. Thank you, Biscuit, for the happiness you brought to our days. You will always be a part of our hearts and our pack. 🌈🐾

🐾 This Week at Barks and Recreations! 🐾

It’s been a tail-wagging week here at the shop, and we wanted to share a few highlights with our amazing pet parent community! 💛

🛁 Grooming Glow-Ups: Our grooming room was full of fresh cuts and clean pups! Big shoutout to Max the Golden, Luna the Doodle, and Tank the Bulldog for being so patient and sweet during their spa day. 🧼✂️

🎾 Playgroup Shenanigans: Our daycare dogs had a blast this week with enrichment games and new toys. The bubble machine was a huge hit (again) and we tried out a few new scent-tracking activities that had tails wagging!

🎉 Birthday Paw-ty: We celebrated Milo’s 2nd birthday with pupcakes and party hats. Check out our story highlights for photos – we promise it’ll make you smile.

🐶 New Faces: A warm welcome to our newest pack members – Rosie the beagle, Jasper the husky, and Cookie the mini schnauzer. They’re already fitting in great and making fast friends.

☀️ Reminder: With the warmer weather, we’re taking extra care with hydration and cool-down breaks. Feel free to pack your pup a labeled water bottle or cooling vest if they have one they like!

Thank you to everyone who trusts us with your fur babies. We love being part of your pet’s weekly routine and can’t wait for more adventures next week! 🐕💕
