🐾 Exciting News from Barks and Recreations Training Center! 🐾

We’re thrilled to announce a new Introduction to Nose Work Class starting Wednesday, October 17th at 6:30 PM! 🎉 This 6-week course is taught by our amazing lead trainer, Mary Pat Jones, who has over 10 years of experience in nose work training. 🐶💪

Why Nose Work? It's beneficial for dogs in so many ways:

Mental Stimulation: Engages your dog’s natural hunting instincts and provides excellent mental exercise.
Physical Exercise: Helps burn off energy, making it great for high-energy pups!
Confidence Building: Ideal for boosting confidence and helping dogs feel less fearful.
Bonding Time: Strengthens the bond between you and your dog.
Low Impact: Perfect for older or injured dogs.
Suitable for All Ages: From puppies to seniors, every dog can enjoy nose work.

We’re thrilled to welcome our new team member, DeOnteya, who has already settled in and is doing a fabulous job with desheds, full baths, and keeping things cool and calm in the bathing room. His gentle touch and attention to detail have made bath time a breeze for our pups! 🌟

Be sure to check him out in daycare on Wednesdays and Fridays, where he’s been making even more furry friends. 🐕💦

🌈💔 A Heartfelt Goodbye to Our Dear Friend, Riley 💔🌈
On August 12th, our beloved furry friend Riley crossed the Rainbow Bridge at 16 and a half years old. He was a cherished part of our Barks and Recreations family, and his presence will be deeply missed, especially by Rhani, who always loved working on his adorable skirt and ears.
Our hearts are with Mary Gert Baker during this difficult time, and we want to thank her for sharing Riley with us all these years. He brought so much joy and love to our shop, and he will forever hold a special place in our hearts. 🐾💖

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of two longtime friends of our Barks and Recreations family, Duncan Carlin and Payton, lovingly known as Powder Sugar Face, Depietro. Both sweet souls brought us so much joy over the years, and their absence will be deeply felt in our shop.

We had the privilege of working with their wonderful sisters, Molly Carlin and Cocoa Depietro, and our hearts and prayers go out to the Carlin and Depietro families during this difficult time. Rest in peace, Duncan and Payton, you will be truly missed. 🌈🐾💔

🌈 Sad News for Our Barks and Recreations Family 🌈

We are deeply saddened to share that our dear friend Fynnley Bartlett has passed away due to lymphatic cancer. Fynnley didn't suffer and went quickly, surrounded by love. He was more than just a client; he was a joyful presence in our shop, always greeting us with a smile and a paw.

Please join us in sending heartfelt sympathies to Colleen and Scott Bartlett during this difficult time. Fynnley was beloved by everyone here, and we will truly miss him.
