To find all kinds of lists on pet toxins, go to the ASPCA website. There you can read about poisonous plants, human foods to avoid giving your pet, and household cleaners that are dangerous for your furry loved ones.
And don't forget, if your pet ingested a toxin, you can call either the ASPCA Poison Control Center at (888) 426-4435 OR the Pet Poison Hotline at (855) 764-7661.

We had 2 very special youngsters come in for their first visits today. Look at these fuzzy little noodles! These are two, 1 year old female ferrets. They don't have names yet, but they like it when their fur mama calls them 'baby'. Even though ferrets do spend a lot of time sleeping during the day, they sure are fun to watch when they play. Be careful though, they're little bandits and like to secret away small items!! Now you know who to talk to next time your keys go missing!

Double Trouble!!
Meet Bagley and Gunner. These 9 week old little lab pups came in for their first visit yesterday and made friends with everyone they met! Gunner's the black one and Bagley's the yellow one. These boys have a lot of growing to do if they wanna catch up to their 2 older housemates! Fun fact, labs are excellent swimmers and great hunting companions.

What's the best way to get chores done around the house with an active and happy 8 week old puppy? Well, you keep them on you at all times so they stay out of trouble of course!!
This is Santha and she loves her puppy harness. She's so comfortable in it that she actually just falls asleep. How sweet is that!! Santha's name is a variation on the spanish word for saint which is santa..... the 'h' is added so her name doesn't get confused with the Christmas Santa!!

Anyone else out there still finishing off their Halloween candy??
Our friends Lily and Bella sure were ready for the spooktacular holiday last week! They are both young border collies who are sweet as can be and make a great looking pair in their costumes.
These doggos are the brainiest of all breeds. It’s said that they can learn commands 5 times faster than any other pupper. They can even get it right on the first try!

This is Taylor Grace. She comes to see us every other week for laser therapy to help with her stiff joints and arthritis. She's a bit of a celebrity - everyone looks forward to seeing her and she's a really awesome patient! Her mom found the coolest thing on Amazon to keep her paws from slipping on the floor..... doggy crocs!!!

This little girl just made us melt with her big, beautiful doe eyes!
Aloy is a 13 week old Cavalier King Charles spaniel that came in recently for her first check up. She did great and was very brave for her puppy shots.
