Thank you for all the gifts and cards, we are beyond thankful!! I definitely miss all of your pups and I will be back to grooming late summer or early fall at Peace Paws and Harmony 🐶

Please be patient if you’ve contacted my friends at Peace Paws and Harmony for an appointment. Unfortunately the Pet Stylist shortage for someone with talent and patience is very real. This is why I was encouraging everyone back in March to get established with a groomer for summer appointments.
I will keep everyone posted on my return date at Peace Paws & Harmony (I will have a limited/part time schedule) but I’m hoping for late summer / early fall.

Some of you already know, but after 10 amazing years we are in the process of selling the Barks and Bubbles grooming van.
This was not an easy decision to come to. Barks and Bubbles has always been my baby, especially for the past 7 years. This business came first before anything else. It determined the size of wedding my husband and I decided on, the house we picked, the town we live in and the vacations we took. As my due date quickly approaches I know it’s time to put someone else above the business and switch my focus. I am very excited for this next chapter, and I hope to see most of you in the future.

My goal is to filter most of my clients over to my friends at Peace Paws & Harmony (in Lindenhurst) then come back to work with them part time late summer or early fall as I figure out the working mom life and get back to grooming my regular clients 🥰
Everyone knows how particular I am about my clients and the dogs I groom, so trust me when I say you guys will be in FANTASTIC hands during my maternity leave.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out and text me with any questions! I am so thankful for every single moment these last 10 years, it has truly been an amazing journey 💗💗💗

I cannot believe I made it! All of my blood, sweat and tears paid off. I am so proud of how far we’ve come.

National dog day is everyday! 🐶
But today I’ll spotlight something fun for your best friend ❤️ Bruce is happiest when he is exhausted because his anxiety doesn’t bother him.
My amazing friend started a mobile dog gym and I am SO excited to tell everyone!!!

Running All Paws is an exercise service for your dog that is delivered to your doorstep. They have fully equipped climate controlled mobile vans to provide a fun, safe and secure way for us to exercise your dog, especially during those hot summer months and icy cold winters.

My Monday-Friday schedule might be fully booked but we truly enjoyed our last nail trim day.
We helped a bunch of pups have a positive experience with nail clipping and that is always my goal. 💖

It’s that time of the year, 𝐅𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬 & 𝐓𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐬 ᴀʀᴇ ᴏᴜᴛ‼️
I expect all of my clients to be on a preventative. It is a small price to keep them safe, bugs are annoying but they are also very dangerous to your dog.
I am attaching pictures of other products I use, on top of the chewable preventative for Bruce.

𝗣𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲- it is stated in my policy paperwork but there is an extra $50 charge if your dog gets into my mobile spa with fleas. They are not fun to deal with and take extra time to clean up / sanitize after so it’s a non negotiable charge for my time.

You can get this locally with my friends at Peace, Paws & Harmony, Inc., I always spray Bruce when we go on long forest preserve walks or up north to our cabin to keep bugs off of him.

*Skouts Honor Yard Spray*
Just like it says “kills, repels & prevents”
We love sitting outside from May until Sept. I always make sure to spray my yard just for some added protection.

Good morning!!!
Just a few reminders as we head into the spring/summer months 🚐☀️🐶

I recently opened up the waiting list, to add a few new pups to the Barks and Bubbles family and to keep a tighter schedule. (by location only)
I will be going back to scheduling a month or two in advance. This makes sure everyone who has a regular spot, keeps that spot.

Please remember a few policies that were put in place June 2020-
•If I don’t hear from you for 8+ weeks, you will most likely have to go on the waiting list until a spot opens up in your area. I am only accepting clients on a 4, 6 or 8 week schedule.
•If you cancel (or you are not home / forget to leave a key) with less than 48 hours notice, you will be charged a $50 cancellation fee.
If this happens 3 times, you will need to find another groomer that is a better fit for your schedule. *For a mobile business, there isn’t wiggle room for rescheduling until I am back in that area again.*

I would just like to thank everyone for being so kind and so flexible when I had to cancel a bunch of appointments recently. It truly broke my heart having to send pups elsewhere for holiday appointments.

I am so lucky to have friends who had my back when I needed it most ❤️ A HUGE thank you to the teams at Peace Paws and Harmony & Calling All Paws. I was able to rest and focus on getting healthy again, knowing all of my clients were in fantastic hands. 🐶💖
I’m slowly gettin back to work and everything should go smoothly for the next 8 days 😂🤞
