🐾 UPDATE & PSA 🐾 Groomer Girls Pet Salon
An update on the poor, neglected doodle 💔
On a very busy Saturday just before Christmas, we reached out to the incredible grooming team at Groomer Girls Salon in Lawrenceville, GA, and they stepped up without hesitation to help this sweet girl.
She was found by a kind Good Samaritan, has no microchip, and is currently on stray hold. Due to severe and painful matting—especially around her ears—she will complete the remainder of her grooming safely while under anesthesia at the time of her spay. This was simply too painful to do while she was awake.
✨ This is also an important PSA ✨
If you are considering a poodle or poodle mix, please understand that these coats require regular brushing and professional grooming. When grooming is neglected, matting becomes extremely painful and can cause serious health issues. Allowing a dog to reach this condition is not just neglect—it’s abuse.
If you’re unable or unwilling to keep up with grooming needs or the cost that comes with it, please choose a breed with a lower-maintenance coat.
This sweet girl deserved better—but thanks to compassionate people and amazing professionals, she’s now on the path to comfort, healing, and hopefully a brighter future 💕

🐾 URGENT HELP NEEDED – SWEET DOODLE GIRL 🐾

This sweet 35–40 lb doodle was found wandering the streets of Gwinnett County with a tie-out badly matted into her fur. A kind Good Samaritan brought her to safety, but sadly she was not microchipped.
She is an incredibly sweet girl who is in desperate need of a comfort groom and a safe place to complete her 10-day stray hold before she can be released for adoption. Her comfort, health, and well-being are our top priority.

🙏 We are urgently looking for:
A groomer who can help with a compassionate, comfort groom
A temporary place for her to finish her stray hold. Or someone interested in a smaller, sweet doodle once she becomes available

Today we groomed two Mavroudis Poodle alumni 💙

Ollie (Borderdoodle) came to us as a 12-month-old owner surrender. Louie—formerly Rudolph (Goldendoodle)—was rescued from a horrific puppy mill in Jacksonville, FL and required a lifesaving blood transfusion. He was the sickest of the four hookworm-anemia puppies we took in at just 4 months old.

Today, both boys are living their very best lives with the foster mom who first showed them love, compassion, and kindness. We couldn’t be happier for these sweet souls 🐾
