I have taken 34 years of working with animals in the veterinary field and listening to what people wanted for their pets. They are the only one that is being worked on during their 2-3 hour appointment. They are bathed, hand dryed (No cage dryers or small cages). I have large pens to accommodate them. I enjoy every minute we spend together. They even get a 5 minute massage while getting their bath

. The new building will be so wonderful and I can offer a larger area and steps that leads up the bath. I will also have a hydraulic table that will lift them up for me. I want their spa time to be special.

It is with a heavy heart that I announce to all my clients that I will be closing TLC Pet Salon completely down. This week will be my last week open. I never dreamed I would ever build such an amazing business and have the support of so many wonderful clients and their amazing pets.
As many of you know I have Post Neuro Lymes Disease. I have been battling it for 19 years now. It was not caught until I was 14 months into the symptoms. So it was already past the brain barrier. It was in my spinal fluid. Not only did I still receive the IV antibiotics but my infectious disease doctor told me it was to late. The last three years not only is my arthritis worse and my other symptoms but yes I wear yellow lenses in my glasses. These are to help me with the photosensitivity from the sunlight and I have to wear very dark sunglasses at night to drive. It has also affected my vision as I have spot blindness or is also called tunnel vision. They have slowed this with eye drops but their is no reversing it.
I have enjoyed my 43 year career working with pets. I have no regrets in my choice of being a Veterinarian Technician to a groomer. And if I could I’d do it all over again. I am sorry . I know you will have to find a new groomer and boarding facility. And it does break my heart. I always thought of my clients and your pets as family. I love you all and will miss everyone of you. Thank you for your support and helping me be the best I could be!
