Dander and saliva are common allergy triggers for people who exhibit a dog allergy. Poodles hardly shed (think human hair style shedding), and they rarely drool.

Since Poodles do not shed, and rarely drool, people with high-sensitivity to dogs are well suited to have a poodle or poodle mixed dog as they are considered hypoallergenic. However, that does not mean they will not have allergic reactions to their pet. It is important to understand what hypoallergenic truly means. The term hypoallergenic is composed of the root words ‘hypo,’ which means less, and ‘allergenic,’ which means the ability to induce an allergic reaction.

Hypoallergenic is a layman’s term used to suggest that the majority of people who experience allergies to dogs will not be allergic to dog breeds with a specific coat type. Allergies are very intricate and individualized to the person who experiences them. This is why GANA member breeders cannot guarantee that someone who is allergic to dogs will not have an allergic response to Goldendoodles.

Puppies due in one week!!! Stella is our guardian dog-she lives with her Awesome family from Cascade with Keith and Shellie Creveling! She’s from Luna and Bishop’s first litter-she’s 2 years old-her OFA is good!! Both are Health Cleared through Embark! Charlie is from Montana Goldendoodles and Labradoodles! They will have Beautiful Puppies! We’re expecting Parti’s, Red, and Apricot colors!
