Hamilton Farrier Service, LLC
Cleve Hamilton was born and raised in our Big Sky Country of Montana. He benefited from the lessons learned from his parents and grandparents. By participating on their ranch, in the back country, and from serving the public as guide and horse handler. From an early age he realized that a gentle, but firm touch and a soft word produced the desired results with horses.
He was always fascinated by how a horse worked, both physically and mentally. He developed a keen eye for the best qualities in a horse and for the things that would lead to issues. This transferred over into his passion working as a farrier.
For many years he honed his skills by studying the old timers techniques in his area. In 2008 he decided to pursue his life long dream of becoming a farrier. He attended the prestigious Montana State University Farrier School and started working part time on horses. Then in 2015 he expanded on his skills by studying at the Oklahoma Horseshoeing School in Purcell, OK. Once he was home again in Montana he began his full time career as a farrier. At both of these fantastic schools he graduated with a degree in their Professional Farrier courses. Currently he continues his education in an apprenticeship alongside one of the top therapeutic farriers in the state.
Today he resides in Great Falls, MT where he services a wide area of central Montana with his skills and experience
