It’s with a very heavy heart that we say goodbye to the famous Country Gentleman. Copper was the gentlest most wonderful pony in the universe, who had so so many fans. The absolute best babysitter, I always said that Copper would make his kid a peanut butter sandwich, pack their lunch and take them to school. And that he was giant sized stuffed animal that had come to life. He had a very very long, wonderful, happy, and healthy life (even if the last 10 years didn’t include grass).
I hope that everyone will comment on this post with their thoughts, memories and pictures to honor of our treasured friend.

Dear Copper,
We love you. You left us so suddenly we hardly could say goodbye. You shared almost 30 years of your life with us and we feel that 30 more wouldn’t be enough. You were the first pony for so many kids. You taught them to love and ride and care for their ponies. When kids were nervous, you were there like a superhero to ease their fears. You have riders out there now showing all over the country, even the world! There are not enough words we could say to express your importance, your perfectness, your cuteness... and not enough words to express our love for you and our sorrow in your passing. We miss you terribly and will never forget you sweet Copper.
