Some quick tips for this heat wave…🔥🔥🔥🔥

🛑Spending a lot of time outdoors in this level of heat is not recommended for any reason.
— Skip the walks, car rides, fetch sessions, etc.

⏸️ If you see or suspect that your dog has gotten too hot and is panting, heavy breathing, legs shaking and/or has a visible sunken line down the center of their tongue - they need to be brought to a cool place to rest and cool down quickly.
✋Do not offer excessive amounts of water.

🌡️If you suspect your dog is overheating, do not just give them a bowl of cold water
— bring them to a cool place, wet their bodies with cool water including around their belly’s and feet.💦
Let them pant (natural cooling) and rest in a cool place until they are more settled, then offer them some water.🏡

Do not take chances.
None of us are acclimated to this level of heat.
Be safe!!!

Pretty white Mama and 2 kittens (8wks old, male & female) looking for a nice home. ❤️🏡

Boy has two dark blue eyes and girl has one dark and one light blue. Typical loving and playful kittens. 💙🤍

Mama would do best in a quieter home. She is very calm and loving but does get worried when there is a lot of commotion.
