We are so excited to introduce our Employee of the Month for March… Spencer!!!

Spencer is a vital part of the MSK9 team. He is our Kennel Shift Lead and has been with us since 2023. We are so impressed with his nurturing demeanor and how he’s truly a team player and puts others before himself. He treats every dog like his own, is incredibly driven and polite.

Happy Monday MSK9 family!!!

Did you know that every training dog gets a bath before they go home?? They do! We always make sure the dogs are squeaky clean before they go home, and it’s so fun when they come back for other services and we get to see how they’ve grown!!

We also offer bathing and grooming services which leaves the hard work to us while you get a squeaky clean pup! 🧼🫧

Happy Monday MSK9 family!!!

Mackenzie is our General Manager and truly helps keep MSK9 running smoothly.

She was raised in Southern California and moved to Colorado in 2020. She came to us from a veterinary diagnostic lab. She decided to join MSK9 for her love of dogs and passion for creating stronger bonds between dogs and their owners.

You will see Mackenzie during trainings, she helps lead group classes, talks with and helps so many of our clients, and she helps put together every single thing here at MSK9.

She is pictured with her dog Bojangles. During her time at MSK9 she has titled him with his Canine Good Citizen and taken part in various group training classes. In her free time she enjoys participating in sports with Bojangles like dock diving and flyball.

We are so lucky to have Mackenzie on our team!

Good morning MSK9 family!! We have an amazing group of employees and they deserve the biggest shout outs!! Our February employee of the month is Alex!!!

Alex is the day camp manager and he started with MSK9 in 2024. He has quickly impressed management. He is super knowledgable about each and every day camp dog which he also utilizes to advocate for them and their needs. He’s super enthusiastic, caring, smart, diligent, and detail oriented!!

ATTENTION DAY CAMPERS!

Tomorrow (Wednesday 2/12) we will be asking day campers to stay home due to the extreme cold, especially if they have shorter hair. We will be here but will only be doing short potty breaks and play sessions for the safety of the dogs and our staff!

Happy Monday MSK9 family!!

As many of you know we have an amazing group of trainers here at MSK9, and we will be introducing each of them here!

Our last trainer is Dylan Near! Dylan has always had a passion for dogs, learning how to communicate and train his family dogs, an akita and a cattle dog mix, from a younger age. He rescued his dog Kodi, a pitbull mix, in 2020. Kodi had human and dog reactivity and working with him helped develop his passion! He loves finding ways to provide freedom and structure that even the most stubborn and aggressive dogs need so they have a happy and fulfilled life! With all their hard work together, Dylan and Kodi have successfully obtained their Canine Good Citizen. Dylan also has a working Labrador, Suede, who has already achieved their Canine Good Citizen as well as beginner and intermediate trick titles! Dylan plans to continue his education and aspires to earn hunt titles with Suede!

We are so very lucky to have Dylan on our team!!

Happy Monday MSK9 family!!

As many of you know we have an amazing group of trainers here at MSK9, and we will be introducing each of them here!

Rianna is our next trainer!! Rianna is our newest trainer to the team and we are so lukcy to have her!!

Rianna adopted her dog, Apollo, who is human reactive and this sparked her enthusiasm for dog training. Through her relationship with Apollo, she has decided to dedicate her time and education to helping owners and improving the lives of both the owners and their dogs!

Rianna graduated from the Kennelwood Academy for Professional Dog training in Missouri and then came back to Colorado to join the MSK9 team!

She works hard with both her dogs. She works with her dog, Key, in odor detection and bitework. She is always striving to boost Key’s and Apollo’s confidence so that they can live happy, structured lives!!

We are very grateful to have Rianna as one of our trainers!!!

Happy Monday MSK9 family!!

As many of you know we have an amazing group of trainers here at MSK9, and we will be introducing each of them here!

Our next trainer is Gator Schott! Yes, that’s his real name 😉 Gator has had a passion for dogs since he was younger, growing up in Nebraska spending time hunting with Labradors and Weimaraners before moving to Colorado in 2014. He joined the MSK9 team in 2020 and completed the MSK9 apprenticeship trainer program after also being the Operations Manager. He currently has a working Labrador named Rowe and a Doberman named Ronald. Gator and Rowe have successfully achieved an AKC Jr Hunt title. Gator and Ronald have titled in protection with PSA PDC. Each of his dogs also have their Canine Good Citizen and he is also a Canine Good Citizen evaluator.

We are very lucky to have Gator on our team!!

CLASS ALERT!!

We are super excited to have another Canine Good Citizen class coming up!!!

Starting Thursday 2/27/25 we will be hosting a CGC class, this will go until 3/27/25 and the CGC test will be on 4/3/25.


There are two time slots for this class, one will start at 5:30pm and go till 6:00pm and the other will start at 6:15pm and go till 6:45pm.

The Canine Good Citizen is a 10 skill test that the American Kennel Club created to help teach dogs good manners and help you and your dog be the best you can be- together!

Over the classes you will learn the test skills needed to pass the CGC test and will also have fun spending time training together with your dog!
