All thanks to our wonderful community. We couldn’t do this without you!

Here's something to warm you up on this snowy day! We want to give a shout out to Dr. Rebecca Hendricks and the rest of Block and Bridle Veterinary Service for their recent donation of children's toys. After testing them out just a little ourselves, these toys are headed out to our apparatuses where they can bring a little comfort to the Greeleyans we help out during our shifts. Good news from the North Pole!

Children around the world received some good news today, with officials from the North Pole confirming that Dasher, Dancer, Prancer and the rest of Santa’s reindeer have been approved for their Christmas Eve flight following a health checkup from Santa’s veterinarian.

Are you thinking of breeding your mare this spring? Do you need an early foal for futurity purposes? Then it is time to put your mare under lights!
Mares need 16 hours of light (daylight and artificial light combined) to start cycling. By putting them under lights in December, they should be cycling by February or March.

The National Finals Rodeo kicks off today and we would like to wish one of our very favorite patients, Swamper, good luck in his first trip to the big show! Swamper is owned by the McGraw family and will be ridden by Dakota Eldridge and Will Lummus in the Steer Wrestling, currently sitting 2nd and 4th, respectively in the world going in to the finals. Good luck Dakota, Will and Swamper!

Thanksgiving has passed and Christmas will be here quickly! As you gather with friends and family this holiday season, we ask that you think about the simple things that you are grateful for how life would be different without them.

A fridge full of food, a house full of warmth, and Christmas stockings full of surprises are just some of the simple things that we take for granted. With your help, we can once again make Christmas the season of miracles for many deserving families in Northern Colorado.

We have rebranded our charity this year; Christmas With A Cause will continue to sponsor families through the United Way, A Woman's Place, and the Guadalupe Center. As always, 100% of donations go directly to the families.

Please keep us in mind as you begin budgeting for the holiday giving season; no gift is too small. If you know of any local businesses that would be interested in partnering or donating, please contact us and we would be happy to contact them.
