🚨 HOME NEEDED: Meet Eddy! 🐾 Eddy is a 1-2 year old male kitty who LOVES to play and snuggle. He has FELV and cannot be out in our cage-free sanctuary. He is safe in his own private suite but he's not thriving. FELV cats don't belong in rescues. The virus tends to limit life spans, so they need all the time in a home they can get. Eddy deserves a chance to experience love and life, whether it lasts a few years or many, many more! ❤️

The virus spreads through f***s, urine and saliva, so he can only interact with other FeLV positive cats. 🐈‍⬛ Or he could live in a home with no other kitties. He *must* remain indoors only. Eddy is also on a prescription diet which keeps his tummy healthy and happy.

URGENT- PLEASE SHARE! Smokey wishes he could have sunshine in the window every day for the rest of his life. ☀️🥺 He is currently residing in a private room in the back of our sanctuary, he does not like other cats so he can't free roam. We try to give him trips to the window as often as we can, but this is NOT an ideal scenario. He deserves better. We need someone to step up and give him the end-of-life love he craves. He longs for human affection and a cozy place to relax. We have no idea how long he has, could be months could be years! Kidney disease is tricky like that.

He is currently in need of a "FOSPICE" or a hospice foster. We realize the odds of adoption for a senior kitty with kidney disease and arthritis are low, and we would actually prefer to keep him under our care so we can make sure he gets everything he needs from our vet. The majority of Smokey's general and medical care is SPONSORED by a kind donor, Socket Monkey Garage. Thank you! 🙌 Smokey's forever foster will have zero expenses regarding his care other than the occasional vet visit trip. He requires a room with a window or a home he can roam that has no other pets.

Smokey gets monthly shots for his arthritis pain and is on a special diet for kidney disease. He also needs Sub-Q fluids 3x weekly but this is a BREEZE! We can teach anyone to do this! Foster must be in or near Green Bay, and able to drive to Safe Haven occasionally for vet visits or supply pick ups.

INTAKE: Meet Pearl! ✨ This sweet girl was transferred into our care from Oak View Veterinary Hospital.🩺 She seems to be suffering from "mastitis", a condition that most affects unspayed females. 💔 Left untreated mastitis is often fatal as mammary gland and ni**le infections can lead to sepsis. Painful abscesses are also common. Thankfully her illness was caught in time, we are hopeful she will recover just fine with treatment.

Pearl will NEVER again have to worry about pregnancy or finding her next meal outdoors, and she will LIVE to see her happy ending! We are thankful to her foster, who is providing Pearl a safe and loving space to recover, and to Oakview for partnering with us to save Pearl as well as providing initial exams and X-Rays 🙌

Donations are highly needed and appreciated towards our rescue efforts. We can only save kitties like Pearl with your support! She needs medication, a spay surgery, a microchip, and vaccines. No donation is too small! Thank you!
