It’s breeding season and we couldn’t be more excited to offer breedings to this young stallion. What he lacks in size he makes up for in his looks, bloodlines and disposition. You can’t go wrong with this trifecta! His willingness to learn has made training a breeze and we can’t wait to see what his babies have to offer!

Sometimes the ones we don’t expect to be more than just a horse are the ones that are the most fun and the most enjoyable to be around ♥️ “Leroy” may be grade but what he lacks in the paper department he makes up for in his personality and his ability to let you just simply have a good time.

Arkansas Quarter Horse is proud to announce a FULL Versatility Ranch Horse Show with Cattle classes, a single-judge AQHA Show, and All-Breed show in Fort Smith, Arkansas on March 22-24, 2024. The 2024 No Bling Spring Fling will be held in conjunction with Westark Horse Show Association.

The VRH Classes on Sunday will be Ranch Cutting, Ranch Cow Work/Boxing, Ranch Reining, Ranch Trail, Ranch Riding, and Ranch Confirmation. ALL classes will have AQHA and All-Breed divisions! (Cattle entries are due by 3/8/2024 to avoid the late fees.)

AQHA exhibitors can show a full horse show on Friday & Saturday for only a $100 flat class fee and the VRH show on Sunday for a $100 flat class fee. There will be AQHA Youth, Amateur, and Open divisions for all classes, which means this weekend will count towards World Show qualifying, national standings, and everything you would normally get out of an AQHA show while taking it back to the old days with a single judge.

“Lucky” is a 15 Hand Stud that’s gentle and easy to handle. We have owned him for over a year now and have never had any trouble out of him. We have hand bred and pasture bred where he has proven to be a perfect gentleman. No bite or kick towards mares or handlers and will back off when asked. He has never AI, live cover only.

He is Breeding sound only!!! He got kicked with his previous owner and is officially not sound to ride. (Can see in pictures) Travels with a definite limp but it does not affect his ability to do his job. He gets around in the pasture fine keeping up with the mares and stalls like a gentleman next to other studs or geldings.

Easy to catch with a bucket of feed and will follow the four wheeler or side-by-side anywhere you take him.

If your interested in big solid foundation type ranch horses or If your wanting to start your own breeding program he is the perfect stud to start with and will produce some pretty conformational correct babies.

The cattle have arrived and we are ready to give some buckles away! Posted are the standings for the series but don’t let that keep you away! Come join the fun because you could still slip in and win a high point of the day buckle in your division PLUS there is added money in the cattle classes!

🐮 Jr/Sr Youth and Novice will box the cow for 60 seconds
🐮Amateur will box-drive-box-drive with a time limit of 2 minutes
🐮Open will box, go down the fence and have the option to rope or circle.

For all of our local Cowboys and Cowgirls participating in this weekends county fair we would like to offer discounted rates for your youngsters to come practice trail obstacles, patterns, speed events and horsemanship.

$10 practice to the general public and $5 for fair kids per horse
$30 for lessons and $15 for fair kids per hour

We couldn’t be more proud of Kyle this weekend. He did an amazing job in the sale preview competing against seasoned adults, gained a ton of confidence talking to potential buyers and held his own in the sale ring. Saying goodbye was a little tough but he was comforted knowing she was going to a good home with another boy thats going to enjoy her as much as he did. Thank you Heritage Livestock for helping us find a forever home for “Ann”
