Since we're not set up to receive tax free donations we pay for everything out of our own pockets. Many times making sure the Castaways resident cats are taken care of first. So we decided to order 3 of these microchip feeds since one of our girls needs to be on a weight management diet. These weren't cheap, but needed.

Miss Ciri (calico) had her annual vet appointment which included her shots including felv vaccine isn't feeling great this evening, but her big brother Indy (felv +) knew somethihg was wrong and came over to comfort her. These two truly love each other. With 6 total kitties (3 with felv and 3 without) here at Cam's Castaways this is a common thing we see everyday.

Miss Lilly,

Is out of the intake room and out with the rest of the Castaways resident. Now after treating her for coccidia, the poor girl has an eye infection and upper respiratory infection 😢. She's getting medication for this right now and she's being a little trooper.

Lilly tested positive for coccidia in her stool.. she has started treatment and will be staying in the intake room for a while longer until she gets the clear.

Newest upgrade here at Cam's Castaways, stainless steel litter boxes and litter mat's under them.. 2 of our resident kiddos loves to kick litter out of the boxes.. cross fingers 🤞 this helps 😆

Were home now after driving out to Pittsburgh to pickup this little sweet heart. Everyone meet 5 month old Lilly she has FELV. She came up from the Miami area.
