Forward Thinking Equine Veterinary Services was started in 2024 with the goal of providing high-quality patient care to our equine partners using a team approach. We pride ourselves in our dedication to supplying the equine community with consistent and progressive, yet practical, veterinary care. We understand how difficult it can be when your horse isn’t 100%, and will work diligently with you t

o create a customized diagnostic and treatment plan that best suits your needs, and follow-up with a program for prevention. Services offered include performance evaluations, lameness examinations, ultrasound, radiographs, injections (including regenerative therapies), equine medical manipulation (aka chiropractic), acupuncture, shockwave, gastroscopy, pre-purchase examinations, and more. Our mission is to provide progressive, high-quality veterinary care to our equine community through strong partnerships with our clients and an unwavering standard of excellence, while always prioritizing the well-being of the horse and the future of the veterinary industry. Dr. Levine is available to provide services in Chester County, as well as occasional appointments to Lehigh and Berks Counties. Dr. Fraysier is available to provide spinal manipulation/veterinary chiropractic services in Montgomery, Bucks, Chester, and surrounding counties, scheduled services in certain areas of Chester, Bucks, Lehigh, and Berks Counties, as well as occasional offerings in the Bedford County area.

Forward Thinking Equine is a two doctor, equine-only, ambulatory veterinary practice that focuses on high quality sports medicine and alternative services. Come be a part of the team!

* Part-time, approximately 20 hrs/week
* Flexible schedule
* Remote, work-from-home option available

* Answer/Return calls and e-mails
* Schedule appointments & follow-ups
* Send appointment notes and reminders
* Process samples for outside laboratories
* Import records
* Option for occasional time in the field if desired

We want to share some of the fun things learned at AAEP Annual Convention this year!

Did you know?

Early endocrine disease can predispose your equine athlete to tendon and ligament injuries. Early diagnosis can prevent injury and keep your horse performing at its best. It is now recommended that horses be tested twice a year-in the spring and in the fall- to help identify these diseases sooner, before they become a problem.

Dr Rachael just spent a whirlwind 5 days in Orlando at the American Association of Equine Practitioners Annual Convention absorbing cutting edge continuing education, after spending some time teaching the next generation of horse vets. She's excited to come home and start sharing what she learned and implementing new knowledge!

Last weekend, Dr. Sam took part in the "Vet Challenge" at Plantation Field Horse Trials. If you haven't heard of it before, it's a DVM vs VMD team showdown. Team DVM wasn't victorious against the VMDs this year, but will be ready to take the win next year! Dr. Sam and her new 5yr ISH gelding, Resi, did take home a 3rd place ribbon in their division, and will be training hard for next year's challenge!
