The color development in some of the less pronounced hatchlings from this year is impressive. I didn’t expect the highlights to grow as vigorously. ☀️ 🕶️ 🐝

We have an excess amount of cardboard chips and have, more than we need!

We use these for our high waste, burrower and arid species and it’s great! Its absorbs odor well, wicks moisture and keeps the urates off the cage floors.

Just one of these bags does a 4’ x 2’ enclosure 3” thick 10 times! These are 5 cu ft bags so they are quite large.

It would likely make a great base for feeder racks as well, let us know if you need any!

“Clean” belly vs “Dirty” belly! I’m curious to know if there’s a way to focus on one or the other. Clean to clean pairings you still have dirty show up and visa versa.

So here is a comparison of the highlighter line babies vs a standard color.

Baby on left is full “Highlighter” line, Wild Thang x Jody. Baby on right is a “Highlighter” x A-Typical offspring. (Wild Thang x Priscilla).

So far so good after these last two generations of breeders. The future for the high color is looking good. Coming up on 7 years in and it’s awesome to see the work come to life, literally.

Last three photos are of the two holdbacks from the clutch. Can’t wait to see them mature. 🤙🏼🤘🏼
