Established in 2006, Pronkin' Pastures is home to approximately 25 alpacas. We offer alpaca visits, and have a cute gift and yarn shop on site.

Located in Greenbank, on Whidbey Island, WA, Pronkin’ Pastures is home to forty huacaya alpacas and two suri alpacas.Raised for their wonderful fiber, we shear our alpacas annually and use the fiber to create yarn, roving, felt, and finished products. ls to add to your herd, an animal to provide fiber for spinning into your own yarn, or an adorable lawn mower, we offer a fine selection of alpacas for sale. Our charming on-site farm store is filled with a wonderful assortment of alpaca products and gifts including alpaca yarn and roving from the fiber of our own animals, socks, hats, scarves, sweaters, gloves, and small gifts! Farm tours and store visits are always welcome! We open our doors for FREE visits one weekend each month. Visits on other days are welcome by appointment and subject to a farm visit fee. A bittersweet day at Pronkin’ Pastures. We have found a new home for 5 of the boys. We’re sad to see them go, but very happy to know they will be well cared for by their new owners. So long Spirit, Alonzo, JR, Angus and Rocky!

Alonzo, Spirit and JR are looking for new pastures! These 3 mature, but mild-mannered boys are past their prime for excellent fiber production, but they make up for it with their pleasant personalities. These 3 boys are buddies and would be most content to retire together. Contact me for details!

It’s windy outside! We’ve already had several large, damaging branches come down. Because our shop, parking area and alpaca viewing area are all surrounded by tall trees, we feel that it could be unsafe to be hanging out in that area. We will be closed for today, but will open tomorrow from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.

have a few appointments available! We’ll be closed Sunday and Monday. Contact us to schedule. We currently have availability at 10 am, 11am, and 2 pm tomorrow (Saturday).

If you are considering a visit to Pronkin’ Pastures, please know that we are open by appointment only for the month of June (and probably for the month of July). We have appointments available tomorrow (Friday) and also on Sunday, but we will be closed this Saturday. Feel free to contact us to schedule a visit!

After an incredibly stressful weekend, we are taking it easy today. Lots of rest and a nice relaxing afternoon walk…. It’s so nice to be back to normal! Again, thank you for your support and help in getting our girl home!

After a little health scare with Clarissa, we are so pleased to see her back to her old self! Here she is happily leading the pronk/run with Ranger, Janey, and even 15 year old Lilah joining in!
