We almost can't believe it!

Our LAST week is upon us and we are soaking in all of the bittersweet memories we've had with you all! 🥺

Peggy and I are forever thankful for the chance we had to offer our services to Greenbrier even for the short amount of time we did it for.

What a roller coaster! ✨️ This week we will finalize clearing out our items in time for us to be HOME with our families for Christmas (the first time ever!).

Please remember that the groomers, Heather and April are STILL available in this location and can be contacted individually to make grooming and bathing appointments! Be sure to follow their pages for updates on what's to come after the first of the year! ❤️

Taking these pictures down hit a little harder than I expected. We definitely did not have every single dog on here but I was working on it 🤣 I can look at each individual photo and tell you the dogs name, what kind of personality they have, what they like and don't like, and what they were doing on that day the photo was taken.

I currently have over 7 thousand photos on my phone of customers dogs. 🫣 My husband said I have a problem LOL but you never can just take one photo and then I always ended up forgetting to delete them.

I am so incredibly thankful to have been able to love on all of these pups in one way or another.

The last 3 years 11 months and 13 days Hometown Pet Supplies has had the absolute pleasure of serving our community and surrounding areas with services catered to their canine friends.

When our storefront opened its doors on December 7th, 2019, our goal was to provide supplies that were USA made, safe & interactive for customers all while shopping locally for their pet's needs! Education became quickly enforced and we strived to give owners an environment where they could be heard and educated. We explored different routes those first two years as we got our feet wet with retail and our customers never skipped a beat when we changed it up on them! We have the BEST!

Peggy and I (Monica) achieved goals we never knew we wanted to achieve when we opened! Just a couple to remanence on...
-Making it through a pandemic (CrAzY!)
-Live segments on THV11 (Two of them!)
-Faulkner County Best of Best Dog Training 2022
-Voted Best Greenbrier Business 2023
-Runner up in multiple categories during Best of Best voting

We have felt that this chapter of our life has brought us through some of the best and worst times. We were forced to grow, personally and professionally. The different seasons of life came and went with a blink of an eye leaving no time to reflect on it and new beginnings approached us and answers were needed. God placed us in a position where he asked us to choose, and we chose Him.

I would like to take this time to now publicly announce the closure of this chapter to our customers, friends, and community and ask that you wrap your arms and prayers around us as we follow Him into our next one! The closure of our business, Hometown Pet Supplies.

It is with both a thankful and saddened heart as we navigate towards this new chapter and close this one!

Thank you all for your support, love, friendship, compassion & open arms the last almost four years!

Moving forward ----> BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT WE DO! Our last day of business will be December 22nd, 2023! We are still taking appointments for boarding, bathing and daycare up until that day! PLEASE do not be a stranger, stop by and say HEY! Give us a hug & wish us well! We appreciate you all so much!

Below are a few obvious questions you may rightfully have along with answers that we know for certain!

Q: Did you sell your business to someone? / Will someone be taking over HPS?
A: NO! Peggy and Monica did NOT sell HPS to any individual/company. Our customers are not obligated to continue using any services available to them at this location (although we highly recommend the groomers!)

Q: What will happen to The Wild Hair & Grace Grooming?
A: Not a thing! These two ladies will continue their businesses out of this location as normal. For scheduling, as always, you'll reach out them directly!

Q: Do you recommend another boarding location for our dogs?
A: YES! We highly recommend Doggie Day Spa and Southern Paws of Greenbrier for boarding AND daycare!

Q: Where can I purchase FROMM food & Crunchy O's at?
A: Neighborhood Pet Shoppe keeps all of FROMM items in stock and ready to grab for your choosing!

Q: Will Peggy still be offering dog training? Where can we find her now?
A: Yes! We are moving her training shed to her home address (1 mile down the road!) and I will continue to help her advertise for that need!

We want our customers to know that we appreciate their business greatly and this decision did not come easily. I sincerely hope that we were able to complete this chapter God allowed us to dive into with integrity and with our heads held high as we close the doors.

My mother and I love each and everyone of you, but we loved your dog's more!
