I've always felt more connected to animals than people. I used to be the kid that attempted to save flies from spider webs, and never let my mom pass a turtle in the middle of the road without me helping it across

𝑾𝙝𝒚 𝒊𝙨 𝙩𝒉𝙚 𝙩𝒊𝙩𝒍𝙚 𝘾𝑽𝙏 𝙨𝒐 𝒊𝙢𝒑𝙤𝒓𝙩𝒂𝙣𝒕? It’s important because it means you went to school and passed a national exam. It's a lot of money, studying, and work that goes into that title to provide top care for our patients

𝙒𝒉𝙖𝒕’𝒔 𝒕𝙝𝒆 𝒃𝙚𝒔𝙩 𝙩𝒉𝙞𝒏𝙜 𝙖𝒃𝙤𝒖𝙩 𝙮𝒐𝙪𝒓 𝒋𝙤𝒃?
Being able to save people's family members. So many humans have animals as companions, emotional support, and instead of children (yes my dogs are my babies) getting to see these animals come in hurt or sick, and then getting to treat them and send them home happy and healthy really warms my heart ❤️ (and also the puppies and kittens are an excellent perk of the job)

𝙃𝙤𝙬 𝙙𝙤 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙙𝙤 𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙡𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 “𝙚𝙢𝙤𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡/𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙙/𝙨𝙖𝙙” 𝙘𝙖𝙨𝙚𝙨?
Everyone handles loss and sad news differently. I've lost pets in the past, and a couple really close family members. Grief is never easy, and losing patients hurts. It's an unfair and unfortunate thing that all living beings have an end. I know that the animals spirit will live on in the hearts of the owners, and a little piece of my heart goes with them too.

𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩’𝙨 𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙 𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙬𝙖𝙣𝙣𝙖 𝙨𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙚? 🗣️
I know that prices have gone up on so many things lately, and it's affecting all of us. If I had the funds and ability to try and save every baby I could, I would. Vet offices of course love every animal, and want to save them all, but if we did, we wouldn't have the funding for the staff, medications, and technology that helps us save patients every day. I promise, vets and techs are NOT in it for the money.

✨ Happy Tail Alert! ✨

Everyone, meet our superstar Bo! 🐶💙 He came in for what we thought would just be a foreign body surgery, but during the procedure Dr. Eric discovered some surprise masses on the spleen. With quick teamwork, an emergency splenectomy was performed — and Bo came through like a champ! 💪🐾

Bo bounced back beautifully, and his mom couldn’t be more thrilled to have her sweet boy home, happy and healing. 🥰 Lots of tail wags and cuddles ahead for this tough pup!

Way to go, Bo — you’ve stolen all our hearts! 💕 And thank you for the cookie cake!😋
