A few times a year, we like to offer help to breeders looking to ethically breed, and expand their knowledge to grow their program to meet the AKC breed standard. Unfortunately, some breeders are not so welcoming with our fine breed, and are often unkind to breeders wanting to learn more.

Experiencing this ourselves, and being called “a nothing breeder from Arkansas” from a world renowned breeder, we understand. Recently, our Cadron “nothing dog from Arkansas” beat that same breeder’s dog in the ring. Through education, perseverance, and dedication to the breed, there’s always room for growth.

Whether you need help with choosing a “keeper” puppy for your program, or choosing the right male, we are here to help….OR if you just simply need help with being an ethical breeder….no judgement, we would like to help.

It is not easy. It will not happen overnight. Be prepared to put in the work ❤️🐾

Long post, but please read as it may answer some of your questions. Una x Cutter: we will not be taking a waiting list until we confirm pregnancy. So far, we have had more people reach out requesting a puppy for this litter than we know we would ever be able to accommodate for. Please keep in mind, that we will be keeping a few puppies, and last litter, she had 4 puppies. Of course, that could be due to when she was bred vs progesterone/ovulation, etc. There are many factors involved there. This could be a bigger litter, but who knows. What we do know is that we don’t want a long waiting list for this litter, and have families assume they will get a puppy. That’s not realistic, nor is it fair to you. Once we confirm pregnancy, we will reach out to the families who requested first, then work our way down the list. You MUST be okay with either color, but can confirm the desired s*x of the puppy to be on the waiting list. We will also confirm price at that time, however, we will not take deposits until after puppies are born, and we know who we will be keeping. Again, we don’t want anyone getting their hopes up.

For the Yona x Chello litter, we will be reaching out today to those on the waiting list to offer to place a deposit. You may choose to place a deposit, or wait. We will not know which puppies are available until a few more weeks, so you must be patient. After this litter, and Una’s, we may only have one more litter this fall and that will be it for some time as our youngsters will not be ready to breed yet. Our other girls are now retired, including Yona, and we do not breed back to back.

Una had a successful breeding with Cutter this morning! We anticipate puppies to arrive around March 7th. This will be a black/yellow litter. We will only be taking a waiting list, and won’t know availability until our show prospects have been selected.

We have received many message requests for available puppies/future litters. We will be responding to everyone tomorrow that has sent a message. We have a wait list for the Yona x Chello puppies, and will report back with availability this weekend. Most likely, there will be 1-2 black females available and 1 black male. With Una x Cutter, we will take a wait list until puppies arrive, however, we cannot guarantee a puppy.

🥳 We are excited to announce that our very own Una is in season, and will be bred to BIS MBISS GCH CH Clearcreek Rock Paper Scissors at Gallivant “Cutter” featured below. Cutter is currently the #1 Labrador Retriever in the US.

Notable wins include Best of Breed at Westminster Kennel Club 2024 and Sporting Group 4,
Best of Breed at the AKC National Championship 2024, and 4 Best in Shows/Best in Specialty.

This will be a black and yellow litter. We will not be taking deposits until after puppies are born and we make our show evaluations. However, you are welcome to be added to our wait list. These will be some fine dogs, indeed!

Sweet Rooster! We have completed OFA eyes, and all clear. Submitted for OFA hips, elbows and heart. We are really loving this chocolate boy! He is very gentle, and kind. Not hyper, but does love to retrieve and work. More than anything, he wants to cuddle! 🐾

🎶 a rooster is the logo for Sun Records in Memphis. “Baby, Let’s Play House” was the first song released by Elvis via Sun Records to make the national charts hence where Rooster’s name comes from! 🎶

Our sweet girl, Rhythm, comes home this week! We haven’t seen her since July 4th when we dropped her off in Dallas to begin showing (she was only 4 months old!). She has done amazing! This is her winning first in her class in Chehalis, WA., then Reserve Winners against the “big” dogs. Rhythm is a Una x Chello girl, and was 6 months old in this video! Super proud of her!
