Happy Thanksgiving from Home and Herd Animal Care!
From our family to yours, we hope your holiday is filled with love, laughter, and all the cozy moments that make this season so special. As you gather around the table, don’t forget to keep your furry family members safe by skipping a few common Thanksgiving treats that can be harmful to them:
Turkey Bones & Skin: Bones can splinter, and rich, seasoned skin can upset their stomach.
Stuffing & Gravy: Ingredients like onions, garlic, and rich fats can be toxic or hard to digest.
Desserts: Avoid anything with chocolate, artificial sweeteners (like xylitol), or raisins.
Alcohol: Even a small amount can be very dangerous.
Instead, share the love with pet-safe snacks like plain turkey meat, cooked sweet potatoes, or unsalted green beans!
We’re so thankful for your trust and support this year. Have a safe and joyful Thanksgiving!
Warm wishes,
Nichole
