Disaster Relief for Greeneville TN Rescues:
Help Us Make a Difference!

In the wake of Hurricane Helene's recent devastation, Paws Across America Transport Services LLC is stepping up to support our community’s rescues and homeless pets, who are often at the most significant risk during such disasters.

We are proud to announce our October Disaster Relief Campaign to raise much-needed funds for local rescues in the Greeneville, TN, area. These incredible organizations work tirelessly to care for animals displaced by natural disasters, and we want to ensure they’re prepared for anything that comes their way before it’s needed! This fund will be dedicated to helping these rescue groups provide safe shelter, medical care, and food in the event of another natural disaster, or emergency. Even emergency transport out of harms way.

How You Can Help: Throughout the month of October, Paws Across America Transport Services LLC will donate 10% of every private transport to a special Emergency Relief Fund for local rescues in Greeneville. (To contribute, private transport must be booked during October but can be used until the end of 2024.)

Why This Matters: Our local shelters and rescues are often overwhelmed during natural disasters. In times of crisis, these rescues are a lifeline for pets in need, caring for lost and abandoned pets, providing the resources necessary for these animals to survive, and ultimately reuniting families with their beloved pets.

By booking your private transport with Paws Across America,
you're not only ensuring safe, compassionate care for your
own pet, but also helping to protect animals in our local area.

Together, We Can Make a Difference! Let’s prepare our local rescues for the future, ensuring they can continue their lifesaving work when it’s needed most! Every transport booked in October helps build our disaster relief fund, bringing hope and
support to the animals of Greeneville. Thank you for standing with us to protect pets in need during disasters!

We have some great neighbors helping to rebuild our community after the disaster left by Helene. Thank you to all First Responders, linemen, dump truck drivers and others that have been bringing in the help needed to get us back to somewhat normal. Bridges will need to rebuilt, water needs to be restored, but God is watching over us the best he can right now. Keep praying for those missing from all areas of NE TN and NW NC and even VA.

Nothing says love like a good upbringing and breeder of your new or future new pup. But this advice goes for all baby animals.

This is something everyone should see. This xray is of a 2 week old puppy.
When you get your 8/10 week old puppies, please keep this image in mind. Their bones do not even touch yet. They plod around so cutely with big floppy paws and wobbly movement because their joints are entirely made up of muscle, tendons, ligaments with skin covering. Nothing is fitting tightly together or has a true socket yet.
When you run them excessively or don't restrict their exercise to stop them from overdoing it during this period you don't give them a chance to grow properly. Every big jump or excited bouncing run causes impacts between the bones. In reasonable amounts this is not problematic and is the normal wear and tear that every animal will engage in.
But when you're letting puppy jump up and down off the lounge or bed, take them for long walks/hikes, you are damaging that forming joint. When you let the puppy scramble on tile with no traction you are damaging the joint.
You only get the chance to grow them once. A well built body is something that comes from excellent breeding and a great upbringing-BOTH, not just one.
Once grown - around 12-18 months depending on their breed, you will have the rest of their life to spend playing and engaging in higher impact exercise. So keep it calm while they're still little baby puppies and give the gift that can only be given once.
