Vaccination Requirements
You understand that your pet is REQUIRED to be up to date on their rabies vaccines and any additional state mandated vaccines prior to scheduling a grooming appointment with physical proof provided. If you are a returning client and schedule an appointment that exceeds your pets vaccine due date, you will be required to provide updated records from
your vet. Health/Veterinary Care
You are solely responsible for your pet’s veterinary care. You understand and agree that Touch of Love Grooming 🐾 does not provide veterinary services. You understand that grooming can be stressful for your pet. You understand that Touch of Love Grooming 🐾 is not responsible for any loss, damages, injury or death of or to your pet from conditions not disclosed to us that could be exacerbated by grooming services. Release for Severely Matted Pets
Every effort is made to protect your pet’s skin and coat while removing the hair on a matted pet. The safety and comfort of your pet is my top priority. A pet’s coat that has not been attended to for a long period of time may become extremely sensitive and incur clipper marks, abrasions, rashes, nicks, itchiness, or redness. Shaving extremely matted ears might also encourage head shaking causing hematomas. You as the owner, agree to in no way hold Touch of Love Grooming 🐾 responsible for any problems resulting from the grooming of your matted pet. Additional charges on top of regular grooming fees apply to pets that are extremely matted especially recurring clients with continued matting issues. Minor Accidents
Working with animals is never predictable, and if a situation should arise where your pet has a minor accident or injury you understand that Touch of Love Grooming 🐾 would never purposefully put your pet in harm's way and will do everything possible to provide a safe grooming session. Minor Accidents can occur during a nail trimming, ear plucking, shaving, or dematting service. When animals move during these services, it may be difficult to move my equipment safely away from snipping your pet's coat, ears, or nail quicks. You release Touch of Love Grooming 🐾 from any liability that is unrelated to the grooming session should any problem/medical issue occur. Workstation
You understand due to business insurance and liability you are not allowed to be in or near the workstation unless authorized by myself. I work alone but may require your assistance if needed. Senior Pets
You understand that your pet is a senior. You are aware that grooming can cause stress that can exaggerate or expose new problems, or even lead to a serious medical event or death in senior pets. You release Touch of Love Grooming 🐾 from any liability should any problem/medical issue occur. Behavioral Issues
Touch Of Love Grooming 🐾 reserves the right to refuse service on some pets, if I feel they will be best served in a veterinary facility. If I accept to groom any animals with behavioral issues, charges will be set in accordance with their behavior. In the grooming process, every effort is made to make your pet as comfortable as possible. I do muzzle or but not restrain your pet unless completely necessary. I do not groom pets that bite. If the pet is behaving badly, and there is a safety risk to me or the pet the groom will not continue. Fleas & Ticks
If your pet has an infestation of fleas and or ticks, you will be charged an additional fee for parasite control. I thoroughly disinfect my workstation between clients to ensure contamination does not occur. Additional Services/Cancellation Notice
Appointments must be canceled within a 48-hour notice. Any and all services must be agreed upon prior to your appointment. You understand that pet grooming is not a 15-minute bath and dry, and that each service has a dedicated time slot per pet based on the service requested, severity of your pet's coat and the breed/size of your pet. Requesting for Dematting the day of your appointment when an agreed upon Standard Groom was scheduled is inconsiderate of my time and may not be possible to perform on the day you are scheduled without prior notice. Please keep in mind somethings can not be done in a short period of time and you may need to reschedule. Payments of Services/Bounced Check Fee. Payment is due on day service is performed. At this time acceptable types of payment are cash and credit cards. Any special requests must be made in advance. If a check gets returned to me because of Account Closed or Non-Sufficient Funds, I do charge an additional $35.00 fee to cover additional paperwork and charges incurred to me by my bank, and future payments accepted will be cash only. Complaint Procedures/Unresolved Issues
If you are not 100% completely satisfied with my grooming service, please contact me within 24-hours of the groom, and I will do my best to resolve your issue. Emergency Medical Treatment Authorization
Working with animals is never predictable, and if a situation should arise where I feel veterinary attention is needed, you hereby authorize medical treatment for your pet. In the event that Touch of Love Grooming 🐾 incurs any costs, fees, or expenses arising from, or relating to, your pet’s need for veterinary care during your pet’s grooming appointment, being that they are unrelated to incidents during your pet’s service, you will promptly reimburse Touch of Love Grooming 🐾 for the same upon request. Arbitration
You hereby expressly and irrevocably waive your right to a trial by jury in any legal actions arising from or relating in any way to the services, these terms, or the actions, inaction, errors, omissions, or negligence of any provider party. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in these terms, except for an action by provider against client arising from or related to nonpayment of sums owed to provider hereunder, neither party may commence litigation against the other party without providing written notice and demand to the other party setting forth the matters and amounts (if applicable) in dispute, and without first attempting in good faith to mediate the dispute before a certified mediator in the county wherein the provider’s principal place of business is located. Photo Release
All pets are groomed to your specific request unless I cannot do it and or due to type of dog’s hair or behavior. You can help your pet have a more enjoyable grooming experience by working with your pet at home between scheduled grooming’s such as daily brushing and combing. Please be advised that at the end of each session a photo will be taken of your pet and will be shared with you through digital (Phone). By using my service, you hereby release any photos I may take of your pet for advertisement on my social media platforms. Thank you
