Over- coddling of dogs can be very detrimental to behavioral issues. No matter how much you want them to be, they are not human, they are not children. It’s perfectly ok to love your dog with all your heart.. I love Rooster with all my heart.. but he’s not my son, my baby, nor my child. He’s my dog & I’m his leader. I’m his boss before anything.. He sees minimal affection from me but he hangs on every word I say & is obsessed with obeying me.

95% of dog training is fixing the owner, not the dog. A board & train can be stressful for owners & I completely understand that. There have been some horrible cases of neglect and abuse from trainers. Luckily , you have me that you can rely on..My # 1 priority is to keep your dog safe while it’s with me for training or boarding.

A board & train here is very much military school for the dog. I’m tough, but I’m fair, & all the dogs respect me and will do anything for me because they view me as the leader. I can’t tell you how many dog owners got their feelings hurt when their own dog, the dog they coddled , chose to follow me everywhere and stay with me instead of them.

You will go through a very thorough Handlers Course at the conclusion of your dog’s training. I teach you every technique & method on how to become a leader. I set you up for success with your dog.. Doing it or not doing it after you get home is your choice.

You are free to disagree that dogs should be treated as children. But let’s take your dog out in public with you & one of my dogs out in Public with me & let’s see which one behaves better.

2024 has almost come to a close.. Another year with my Top Deputy helping me run things smoothly..

Rooster always alerts to suspicious cars or activity ( but he alerts to everything 😂) Sometimes he likes to start fights with my older dogs for no reason whatsoever.. He can be confrontational & have Redneck tendencies.. He once flattened one of the tires on my Dad’s SUV by sinking his teeth in the sidewall of the tire. That one really ticked me off. Lol.

I’m his boss before anything. The two things that are mostly on his mind are where am I ( me ) going & what am I ( me) doing. He doesn’t care how much money I have or if I’m ugly or handsome.. He is the definition of loyalty.

90% of my Boarders are still from word of mouth & it remains the best advertisement for a small business. A face to face review about a small business from a person you’ve known for many years , is always going to beat out a 5 star Google review from a stranger. Or an online Facebook comment. I’m not saying social media doesn’t help, it does. But the majority of my clients could care less about opinions on social media 🤷🏻‍♂️

When you choose to Board your dog with us, it gets to go out , off leash, & run freely 8-10 times per day. Bigger dogs need more exercise than your smaller house dogs. We are proud to say the big boys always have fun here.. Here are two roommates enjoying their early morning playtime.

Exercise time.. The dogs are turned loose many times throughout the day to run… but first: A walk down the cell block by the Warden 🤣
