We need your help!
We currently have a few upgrades that need to be done at the shelter, in total these projects will be costing us roughly $80,000!

As many of you know, we run solely on donations, which means we need you now more than ever to ensure our facility is up to its best standards for the animals in our care. In order for us to keep doing what we do, we have a few upgrades to do.

Imagine if every person that sees this post donates $1-$5, we would reach our goal easily! But in order for that many people to see this post, we need YOU to share this for us.

We are hiring!

We are looking for someone that loves animals as much as we do to join our Estherville family.

🐾This position is 5 days a week 9am-3pm, the days needed are Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday. (holiday & weekend availability is a MUST!)
🐾This is also a labor intensive job, in & out of kennels, lots of bending over, raking, snow removal as well as horse clean up and much more!
🐾You must have reliable transportation & be a reliable candidate, as the animals depend on YOU for year round care.
🐾Must be 18years or older
🐾NO AMINAL ALLERGIES (we have cats,dogs, goats, chickens & a horse)
🐾Must be able to lift 50+ pounds
🐾Must be able to handle dogs of all breeds/sizes
🐾Must be able to communicate well with other employees, volunteers & managers.
🐾Must have good customer service skills, you will be around many people daily.

NOTICE FROM THE GREENFIELD HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT:

Russell and Hyspot Road will be closed today while we prepare the road for resurfacing from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Due to the predicted extreme heat on Monday (06/23/2025) and Tuesday (06/24/2025) we will NOT be having dog walkers.

Chloe’s has been here for almost FOUR YEARS!! How is that possible? She is great with people, just needs to be the ONLY animal.

Have any old sheets or carpet remnants lying around? We will gladly take them for our furry friends!

We use these items daily, we are almost completely OUT. Donations can be dropped off 10am-2pm / 7 days a week.
