Releasing those back spasms for Shiney here. These are some pretty big ones! I also used my massage gun on his back to try and get even deeper. He really enjoyed the release❤️
Lucky enjoying a good release. Notice the licking of the lips and the neck stretch.❤️

Portia falling asleep for her back massage😊. She had a pretty sore back so I used my new massage gun on her on the lowest setting. This was her first time seeing one and she was pretty nervous at first but if you watch her eyes, she eventually realizes how good it feels and she relaxes. I love my job❤️
Lucky enjoying some massaging on her TMJ❤️
Liam was such a good boy for his massage yesterday! He loves getting his bodywork❤️
Sweet Lucky was so relaxed during her last massage. Crazy to see how much progress she’s made in these body work sessions. ❤️
Check out those back spasms! Here I’m relieving some muscle tension on miss Lucky. This can be caused by a number of reasons. In Luckys case it comes with her high level of performance and training. With Luckys level of work/performance she gets pretty sore and tight muscles. This is why she gets massages every other week to keep her feeling her best!
Lucky was really enjoying her chest massage! This was her third massage and it’s really been the one where I’ve seen the most improvement with her. There would be times where she looked so relaxed and like it really felt good which is an amazing feeling to see that I’m making a difference. For those of you that don’t know Lucky, she is such a sweet mare but definitely has a big personality and never wanted me to know she was enjoying her massages. She finally gave in and enjoyed it!😊❤️
Check out these back spasms along the longissimus dorsi extensor. This can be due to a number of reasons including:
•Poor saddle fit
•Overworking
•Lameness elsewhere in the horse, particularly hindlimb lameness.
One way to help strengthen a horses back is by doing “tummy lifts”. Apply firm pressure where your horses girth would meet the middle of his chest and hold for 15-20 seconds. This encourages the horse to flex up through the back which also works his core muscles!
This horse will be receiving biweekly massages😊
Showtime sure does love her peppermint essential oil!
•Peppermint- amplifies other oils, elevates & opens the sensory systems, it can reduce fevers, reduces pain, & it regenerates nerves!
Check this out! This horse is dipping her back down due to pain. Are you guys aware of all the signs of pain in a horse. Sometimes as horse owners we like to make excuses for our animals. “Oh, they’re just being silly or my horse is just really mean”. When really, there could be a way bigger issue! This horse received thermal as well as a full body massage. I used the thermal to see where pain/inflammation could be so I knew what places to focus on more or even be more gentle on. Message me with questions or to set up and appointment.😊
Check out Showtimes behavior just seconds after applying the kinesiology tape! Licking her lips and a big sigh of relief. I applied this tape to help with her navicular/leg inflammation. She really enjoyed it!
