A wonderful opportunity within our community!

*****WE ARE COMPLETELY BOOKED FOR THE YEAR*****

Starting the first week of May and going thru the end of September 2024, we would like to help our community.
Our department is offering free lawn care bi-weekly (depending on how many lawns we have) for our senior citizens and disabled veterans.
This will be done on our own time and with our personal equipment and fuel.
The only thing we ask is that they are the property owner, live within the village limits and sign a waiver of liability.
You are welcome to call or text the number on the attached flyer, If you call please leave a message if it is before 4:00 pm as I am at work. We will call you back.
PLEASE ONLY CALL THE NUMBER ON THE FLYER SO OUR OFFICE LINES ARE NOT TIED UP.

Earlier this month, our clinic along with Boehringer Ingelheim (BI) hosted our annual Longrange Meeting at the Alley 21 in Hillsboro!

We had a fantastic turnout and educational seminar by Brent Tolle of BI.

In addition, we honored our first annual recipient of the Outstanding Producer of the Year - Andy Beatty (pictured below).
Congratulations to Andy and thank you to everyone who attended!

If you’re missing a pig, here’s where it is! 🐷

Is this your baby pig? Our Deputies located this cute little thing running around the dead end of Old Chillicothe Road and were able to apprehend it before it got onto US35. The Fayette County Humane Society now has possession of the animal, so if Wilbur belongs to you then please reach out to them to make pick up!

…and yes, we can hear the laughs and the jokes already. All in good fun!

This past Monday, we had the privilege to be the Hospitality Sponsor for the annual Fayette County Cattlemen’s Banquet!

Held on Monday, February 26th, there was a fantastic turnout in support of our local beef industry. Many of our customer’s families were recognized for their participation in beef projects at the fair, and we celebrated Jay Fannin as he was recognized as the Outstanding Cattleman of the Year.

We were honored to take part in such an event, and we plan to continue our support at many fairs and banquets to come!

Happy Leap Day!!

Happy Leap Day!

Taking place every four years, this extra day added to the calendar makes 366 days rather than 365 days in the year. Because of this, people and foals born on this day are considered "leapers" or "leaplings."

Happy Leap Day to the "leapling" foals born today!🐴

We ask that everyone keep their eyes out for this sweet boy! His family is missing him dearly.

From the Davis Family:

Our four month old male silver lab went missing, 2/21 Near Careytown Rd. , Leesburg. Connecting roads are Antioch and st rt 28. We had drones looking for him that day. That evening we had a drone with a thermal camera. He is definitely not in our area on foot anyway. We believe someone probably picked him up, which is great. We just hope somebody reaches out. Thank!

Please share & feel free to reach out if you have any information that can help reunite this pup with his family!

Today, we have the privilege of congratulating not only one, but two of our own on their acceptance to Veterinary School at The Ohio State University!

Ally Beatty is a lifelong Greenfield resident, recent graduate of Wilmington College and has worked in our clinic for nearly 3 years. She loves spending time rescuing & re-homing stray cats, helping her dad work cattle and assisting in surgeries and other veterinary procedures in the clinic and out on farms.

Abbey Mohan is a Chillicothe native, graduate of Western Colorado University and is currently completing her masters degree at Lincoln Memorial University in Tennessee! Abbey competes in collegiate track & field and recently set a new school record! She was a summer-long extern with us this past year and will be returning this year.

We are SO proud of you both and wish you both nothing but the best in these exciting years ahead!

Did you know that we see horses of all shapes, sizes and ages?

Call to schedule your appointment today to get your horses established with our clinic!

It’s not uncommon to find horses and ponies living well into their 20s and 30s, thanks to continuous advances in nutrition and health care.

Horse owners have a big impact as well and can help their horses thrive in their golden years through proper management practices like those illustrated in the graphic. But remember: although there is much you can on your own do to keep your older horse happy and spry, some conditions associated with aging require medical intervention.

Scheduling regular visits and keeping a good line of communication with your veterinarian will allow you to respond quickly to any ailments or injuries that could cause your horse a serious or prolonged set back. That means less worry for you, and a better quality of life for your old friend!
